You can't really compare scores across seasons tbh. Each season has different judges with different ways of judging.

Now that the round is over:
I have not once been a fan of this round. While the premise is to ease potential newcomers into the game by not giving them such a daunting task early, this challenge has a knack of being not entirely clear. It's asked to make a song that is at least one to two minutes in length, but it's apparent that interludes nowadays aren't just short versions of songs or short songs for that matter. I'm not sure about other entries, but was it ever made clear these songs needed to be sung? What if it was specifically spoken word or a scene excerpt with emphasis on the narrative and not the flow and meter? I find we're always bound through these challenges which is something I've been meaning to rectify since season 5. I have no issue with the challenges being so aptly named, but it needs to be made clear that the freedom of the challenge should match the freeform of the entries. If this challenge isn't fixed by the next season, it should be put out to pasture. This has nothing to do with Temporal or the last two seasons when this challenge was implemented. All three hosts have done and are doing fantastic jobs given the task at hand.

My 7.88 rounds to 7.9, which equals 79 out of 100, which is higher than any of Taylor's album ratings. Poor Failure, my talent won.
