Lemme explain to you why she is so protective/ in love with Tatsuya

Tatsuya is her brother however he was born with inferior magic skills compared to her and is treated like crap by their family because of this . He is also not considered a Yotsuba (prominent magic family) because of his weak magic skills Even the family butler gets to treat him like trash

To top it all off his job is literally to be her guardian. She is currently powerless to help him gain any kind of respect or standing in the family and it really hurts her. And so all she has to offer him is her love :banana8:

I mean in the end it's her brother and she already loves him, but you watch the anime and you see just how sweet, nurturing, protective, and kind he is Her love is justified!
