Coal is an harmful energy source, and we should take all steps we can to reduce fossil fuel use and move to green energy. Yes, this will put coal mines out of business and coal miners out of work. Candidates shouldn't be afraid to say that. It's unfortunate for mining communities, but you're literally weighing the fate of mining communities against the fate of the planet. It's not a difficult decision.

The lady explained to me that we as democrats have to unite to not only defeat Trump but to also get a dem majority in congress. She literally said that since the Republicans have such a damaging candidate as their nomination that the dems must STRIKE while we have a chance.

I told her yes i support the cause and she told me when/where to vote.

They should still get to keep jobs, just with a different energy source. That's what Hillary was saying when she said she was going to put coal out of business. And then people only listened to one part of the clip and misconstrued her words.
