The smiley is ok (I hate how I can’t clearly seethe details of the smiley) but I don’t see a void in the market for it. It’s merely a combination of and and can even be channeled by . It’s what “hihi” would look like if we were to create a smiley based on a popular ATRL phrase. I can only see this being used in a satirical manner, already marking this smiley for limited usage. Granted, everyone loves trying to be shady, so this could have the potential to takeover ATRL, but I doubt it. I think the pre-existing smilies already do the job that :jax: is trying to do.

I don’t think this smiley solidifies your brand. It’s a bit of a mismatch.

I know I’ve mentioned that formatting doesn’t really matter to me but it does when it prevents me from reading your entry. Cool it with the backgrounds. This is the second (third?) time you’ve gone overboard and it’s tiring me out. I can’t speak for the other judges, but I will start docking points.

As for your smiley…I really like it. I’ve always wanted a sideeye smiley to be added. A sideeye smiley that has more hesitation than the aggressive . I think this could take ATRL by storm due to the fact that so many posts on here warrant a pause or some sort of *crickets chirping* as a response. Just wish the eyes went one way instead of back and forth and that the smiley itself wasn’t so dark. And no, this is not a racist comment.

I will point out that :shady: makes more sense than :huga: for this smiley but do you think this smiley fits in with you/your brand?

What are you going to label your smiley as? Would have been nice if you included that. I must say, I find your smiley to be really adorable, though I wish the colors were a tad bit more aggressive. I wish it had a higher usability than it does though. In almost all of your examples, there was some variation of “slayage,” “it’s only a matter of time” and “just you wait.” Versatility is key I feel like the usage of this smiley is pretty restricted to the definition of “snatching” and didn’t seem like the smiley could be used site wide in different ways (I could be wrong). Also, while this seems like a good idea, an actual gif of a “snatch” would be so much more convincing and more likely to be replicated by other members than this smiley.

In the sense that a “snatch” gif can already execute what your smiley is trying to do, I’ll say that you were true to your brand and was “extra” in creating this smiley from scratch.

“:vroom:” helped your smiley work in some sense. It wouldn’t have made sense had you chosen :latch:. However, this smiley is just an extension of ; they seem very interchangeable to me. I guess the motorcycle adds a little dimension to the smiley but I can leave or take the smiley without the motorcycle. If anything, the motorcycle makes me think of the South Park episode where the cyclists were called “f@gs” but that’s neither here nor there. Back on topic, I see multidimensional uses for this smiley even though your examples were a bit lack luster.

dd Honestly, your examples made your smiley work very effectively. I screamed at that clairebear example. Like with Jax, you smiley is a bit like but the hand over his mouth makes it that much more funny and shady for some reason. But for that same reason, your smiley’s usage is very narrow but I still don’t mind it cuz I can see myself, and the rest of ATRL using this smiley frequently.

I’m not really a fan of :dancehall3: . It just doesn’t compare to the first two immaculate dancehalls. I’m guessing that I would be using this smiley when I want to express a sense of boredom/anxiousness? It kind of confuses me even though the way you used it looks all the same to me; I could be being dense. But for now, in my mind, your smiley seem to mimic and and I don’t see :dancehall3: becoming a popular staple like your other two.

I wish you used this for the gif challenge cuz it would have slayed. This reminds me of Cupid’s entry where he Photoshopped Sweet Brown’s face onto His was strange but oddly functional on ATRL. I find your smiley to be a bit too large…I think it would have worked better had there been no white background and her face a couple pixels smaller. Also, I don’t think this is like at all. I can’t believe there isn’t a “gay” smiley on ATRL already, aside from . In that sense, you filled the void with this smiley. I’m not a fan of this smiley but I can see it being used…and incorrectly as well (I kinda felt like your usage in some of the examples were really forced and unnecessary). I get a sarcastic/cheeky vibe from the smiley but knowing the homos on here, it will be used anytime and every time someone tries to “expose” someone for being gay or if the topic is something gay (“gay” meaning “stupid” along with the original definition). It’s obviously a pigeonholed smiley, but again, HomoTRL might find it useful. I kinda wish that the smiley had a derp face so the smiley could be used ironically and you might have gotten more mileage out of the smiley.

I’d agree that you stuck with your brand for the most part.
