i didn't really think any of the songs were that good this year, i wanted sweden, spain or ukraine to win (well i wanted the UK to win most obviously ). i wish eurovision wasn't so political though and i felt really bad for those 17 year old twins from russia being booed all the time but im happy they at least finished in the top 10

The 50/50 vothing thing is why Turkey doesn't participate anymore. They find it unfair. (Also because of the fact that the Big 5 are automatically in the finale. )

I kind of agree with them, I mean the Big 5 sponsor the Eurovision (right?) so it's kind of understandable, but their songs are always so bad.

I find it no surprise that the Turkish find it unfair. They have spread out through whole western Europe and often getting high points because of the immigrant votes.

The jury 50% of the votes is UNFAIR. They always mess up stuff. Poland got #5 in Public Vote.

I love the Netherlands, and didnt mind the song, but comparing itunes positions one day immediately following the song contest proves nothing.

If she was a man in a beard with a crappy song and crappy vocals she wouldnt have placed. She placed because she pulled off a performance that made people root for her. She was larger than life and as much as she got votes as a gimmick act, she also lost them from a large amount of viewers.

The real winner is Conchita and will remain Conchita.

She'll be remembered as the bearded lady from eurovision. I mean, its pretty memorable in itself. Not sure that will do her any favors in the long run but good luck to her sustaining any music career.

Glad Conchita won. Actually the top 3 were my 3 favourite songs. And to those wanting juries to disappear, juries are the only thing keeping Eurovision from total ruin. Without them, acts like the Slavic Boobs could even have a chance to win. Euphoria, Teardrops, Rise like a phoenix, 3 great songs chosen from the balanced mix of juries and televote.

Also, I still support the 50/50 but they just need to stop with the "rank everyone" cuz there are some extremely weird results. Just jury rate their ten, televote their ten and build the Final Ten off those scores.
