I think it's possible for Drake to be the best selling rap album of the year. I don't see Eminem selling too well, in all honesty.

Justin is an exception, he was coming from a long hiatus and he had all this hype,
eventually people realized his music isn't that great and we know how it ended.

It feels like he's going to release and EP not LP. No hype etc.

I don't think Adele will do under 10M either. She will devour holiday sales the first year it's released. 21 is basically the most successful album of all time; I know my parents and relatives will buy the follow-up out of good grace alone.

I'm taking into consideration diminishing returns, the fact that artists don't usually follow up a phenomenon with those numbers, and the fact that you shouldn't ever overestimate an artist's selling power, as seen by other acts in recent history.

I just can't wait to hear what she comes up with. I'm not really worried about the sales aspect of it. And I want the Beyonce collaboration!

Adele is the kind of artist that people will buy her album no matter what though.

While 20 million will be difficult, almost impossible, it wouldn't surprise me if she could do it, but the material has to be right and there has to be singles that will carry it's sales.

At the same time though, we'll likely get very little promo and probably not many singles so it isn't very likely.

1m is definitely achievable, doubts about 2m, but that probably means she will.
