Oh most definitely!! She needs to start rebuilding the hype for this era....she can start today with the MET Gala....release the BBHMM MV (hopefully it goes viral), release the album cover/title, kill the SNL performance (perform 1 new song from the album), perform at the BBMA and then release the album towards the end of May. The era has been messy thus far but if she does all of this in the month of May, I think things will be back on track

The era has been down cause her team didn't keep the hype for the single (BBHMM) up; it was doing very well if they'd just released the MV after the performance + Radio help it would've been a big hit!

I agree, I'm just saying they can still salvage things. If she releaases the MV within the next week or 2 I think the song can repeak in the top 10 and a SNL performance will help it stay there for a couple of weeks

I agree with all of this... in theory she could relaunch the era now, at the end of the summer, or late fall/November. Those are the best times for promo and media buzz. But I'd rather her go into hibernation rn and come back when the album is completed. Like there's no point in getting people excited if she's just going to disappear again

I agree, if she doens't planning on releasing the labum any time soon then she needs to take a break for a couple of months and come back strong a month before the album drops with a new song, lots of promo and an album cover/title

What if the video hasn't been shot yet though? I mean the only "proof" of the possible existence of the video is her saying "wait for the video" on Fallon, no?

I echo what has been said in the last couple of posts. It doesn't have to be this huge promo onslaught, but if the album is coming this month, then she has to tell us more: release date, cover, tracklist...anything. What frustrates me the most is this lack of information and interaction with the fans and the public in general. It could potentially be detrimental in some way to the overall success of the era.

She was spotted on a video shoot, boarding a boat. We're not sure if that was for BBHMM but that same day, she posted a pic of a doll wearing the iHeartRadio BBHMM performance outfit on her snapchat

I interpret the lack of infos as indecision, i think they're still deciding if releasing the album this month or later this year

Same here! Rihanna is known and revered for her social media prowess and the way she interacts with fans. So much of her appeal is that she's very accessable and personalable. For her to completely detach herself from the fans and be discrete about everything just doesn't feel right

You would think so but then I harp back to her own words when she said she would be being revealing new music 'little by little' and I think this IS and has always been their strategy. I think the plan is to give us crumbles until we get closer to the release of the album and then they'll reveal everything perhaps in a 2 week period

Exactly! There's been some social media presence this era, but more label-wise, not directly from her; we've just got some tweets but I would like more. Social media is essential nowadays in the music biz, I think.

Maybe they're waiting until next Monday to release the BBHMM video because of that stroll off competition? If it is indeed coming out then, a BTS video to keep everyone hyped would be a good idea.
