Depression is a disorder not a disease, I wish she'd use the correct term to decrease the stigma.
I personally question the appropriateness of namedropping others in this context, especially when what Adele spoke on recently was PPD (a separate form from 'regular' Depression with unique symptoms) and a general "availability to depression" across her life, not directly related to work as I'm getting from this quote.
I have more thoughts on this but... eh. Gaga clearly meant very well here, though, sorry if I'm sounding too critical.

Based on tweets, British people really liked that RCMH show! She always wins people over when she performs live on TV. Imagine how much she would sell if she were to record a live album of all new original songs.

I was just thinking...
She was BB Artist of the Year in 2011, that got a magazine cover. She hasn't done an interview with them all era, there's that pic from Michael and the tweets of the video guy still floating around (presumably the latter could've just been the for Wembley announcement, but it feels like something bigger's in the works). That said, it's not like the Artist of the Year winner covers it every time, and her VF is still quite recent. Thoughts?

^According to HDD, there is some sort of a feud going on between Columbia and Billboard. That's the reason why they didn't get an Adele cover story this era.

Ah gotcha. So that likely rules that out, they'll go with the No. 1s format and put Drake or whatever on it.
Still trying to place the pic, tweets, and now that I think about it, also her talking about important meetings at the last show (unless that was Wembley).

No, absolutely not. Medically, a disease implies there is a identifiable physical cause for the condition. Because of this, the APA does not recognize Depression, Bipolar Disorder, etc. as diseases, submitting a paper making such a claim would likely be met with immediate rejection.
I'm really not the one to be tried in this area.

Depression, on the whole, is caused by a chemical imbalance in the brain. That is identifiable.
But tell me about myself.

Could she be filming something for the Grammys? Like the background for her perf like the BRITs one? Or was that way too soon (although they could've agreed on a performance even without her getting any noms/knowing if she was gonna get some)?
Or something for the DVD? The list is endless tbh

Actually, that correlation is still in study, and it is not directly quantified how much of an imbalance of either dopamine or serotonin can affect or not affect the brain. Moreover, the sources of such imbalances, regardless of their impacts, and depressive symptoms as a whole, could be from various external and internal causes that cannot be directly identified, at least at this time. There is no be-all-end-all Depression test, there is a diagnosis of Depression when its various symptoms are detected.
I have no interest in dismissing your personal identification, if you want to refer yourself as having a disease go ahead. I'm just telling you that that is not the accepted term by the scientific community as a whole, and furthermore is a term that places unnecessary stigmas on all people suffering from mental disorders (myself included, whoop de doo) that I wish public figures such as Gaga would not use.

The ignorance is worrying and the condescension is obnoxious.
The fact that you said, 'if you want to refer to yourself as having a disease', with such casualness says everything I need to know.
I'll leave you to think what you want. I'd rather not have such a serious discussion with a person who has absolutely no thoughtfulness to the consequences of words and actions.

And I refuse to continue to speak to someone that incessantly twists not only my words but the words of my friends to falsely play the victim, now to the point of purposely promoting terminology that I have objectively outlined as not only academically/medically/scientifically incorrect, but unnecessarily and wrongfully stigmatizing of yourself, myself, and millions of others worldwide.
Enjoy your stay on yet another ignored list.
