I hate that TFM is counted as a new album only in the US, even though Billboard classifies it as an EP. I mean, would they count "Versus" as Usher's new album

They won't release two singles to support the album. They're going to release the first single and drop the album like 5 weeks later.
And I think it's obvious the album is coming out before next summer.
