Lollapalooza 2014
Taylor Swift was live from Chicago earlier this week where she performed at the 2014 Lollapalooza festival. Being one of the most popular and talked about acts performing at the all day festival, she drew in a massive crowd of over one hundred thousand people in Grant Park. Fans were walking around all day today dying of excitement an hour before Swift would go on. Labelmate Sky Ferreira also performed at Lollapalooza, performing songs from her two album discography. At nine o'clock Taylor Swift went on stage to an amazing reception, wearing a black mini dress and a denim jacket over it. her hair was a bit messy as she served Indie rock princess teas with her outfit. Her set was strictly more indie-rock as she performed most tracks from her album 'All At Once' and 'Coven 13', those albums being more rock dominated than Swift's other records. There were notable appearances from 'Red' as well. Taylor's setlist was about fourteen songs long and she sounded great minus a few parts do from vocal overuse. The crowd was amazing as they sang along. They sang along so loud sometimes that you wouldn't be able to hear Swift over the speakers. The set was great and critics were favorable of it.

London Wireless Festival
Taylor Swift has become a festival act it seems as the American singer-songwriter has been almost everywhere performing. From the V Festival in England to T In The Park, Taylor's been playing to almost a million people just this week as Swift is currently also on her Electric Princess World Tour which has been playing stadiums of over fifty thousand people a week. Tonight Taylor Swift was in London at Hyde Park where she performed at the London Wireless Festival, performing a full on concert for the fifty thousand people in attendance. In one of Taylor Swift's strongest markets there was no surprise it was one of the biggest turn outs for a London Wireless Festival set. The audience was highly irritated by the acts prior to Taylor Swift as they wanted to see the headliner for the night. Swift rose from the stage wearing a black dress with a collar with a leather jacket over. Swift finished off the look with some high heel boots designed by Christian Louboutin. Her set was eighteen songs long and was the same as her Electric Princess World Tour set. The crowd was great as they sang all the words to all the singles. Her vocals were a little tired but everything in all was great about the concert.

Cayman Records announces major radio deals for Zedd's latest single "Temple"

Cayman Records has announced multiple major radio deals for Zedd's latest single "Temple" with many radio broadcasting companies. They hope this will help propel the song to the top spot on this week's CAL Chart. The deals include Clear Channel, CBS Radio, Emmis Communications, Entercom, and Radio One among others.
The deals include a clause involving each one of each involved company's stations that run one of the following formats:
- Adult Contemporary
- Adult Hits
- Contemporary Hit Radio
- Dance
- Hot Adult Contemporary
- Modern Adult Contemporary
- Rhythmic Adult Contemporary
- Rhythmic Contemporary
- Urban Contemporary
- Urban Adult Contemporary
The clause states that "Temple" must be played at least once every hour by each of these stations, with CHR, Dance, Rhythmic Contemporary, and Urban Contemporary being required to play it four times every hour. This should serve to produce public awareness of "Temple" and Zedd's upcoming album Serenity.
This is similar to but more widespread than a radio deal with Clear Channel for Zedd's previous single "Slay." This deal plus the Applegate controversy should help "Temple" quickly shoot up the airplay charts.
No further news on the Applegate scandal as of yet.
"Temple" is the second single from Zedd's sophomore album Serenity.

Britney On X Factor Australia
Britney stopped by X Factor Australia tonight for a performance of Gimme Your Best.
Britney Spears was wearing a long black gown as smoke covered the stage. Britney sang a slowed down-ballad version of Gimme Your Best for a minute as fire shot up from the stage. Halfway through the song Spears stood on center stage which rose up in the shape of a sphere as Britney ripped off the white gown, revealing a white bra/pant set.
Britney performed an up-beat chorus to Gimme Your Best alone on top of the sphere as water and fire shot up around it. Water rained down on Britney as girls dressed in similar outfits came down onto the sphere attached to cables. The girls and Britney danced in the rain and flipped their hair around.
An army tank then came up from underneath the stage and Army men jumped out shooting laser beams at Spears and the girls. The girls avoided all the beams, moving very flexibly. Then all the girls jumped off the sphere (while attached to cables) and fought off the men while Spears performed a dance break alone at the top of the sphere.
The performance ended with Britney dancing in her ring of fire on top of the sphere as she went into a full split when the song came to a close. The show then faded to a picture of Britney's album cover with a message that said "Buy Britney's new album at midnight, July 13th" .

NRJ RADIO INTERVIEW
Taylor Swift had just gotten finished with her setlist at NRJ's Energy Stars for Free concert when she sat down backstage shortly to give an exclusive interview that was broadcasted on NRJ Radio's official radio waves. Taylor was still in her stage attire as she was pulled to the side as soon as she gotten off stage. Sweaty, hot, and surely a bit tired Taylor held herself together for the interview as she was still still as pleasant and nice as ever towards the interviewers and everyone else in the room. Taylor's interview with NRJ interview was short and sweet but she made sure to give them some tea on her upcoming album that we found out was executively produced by herself and with some help of Giorgio Moroder. "Giorgio really helped me with this record. I sort of looked to him for guidance with the record. Because if there's anyone who knows anything about disco it was him. He kind of pioneered it. To think he was behind songs like 'I Feel Love' which pioneered pop music today, it's just a complete honor for him to be on my record you know." Swift also talked about some of the songs they worked on together. "Giorgio helped me on one of my favorite songs on the record. It's called 'Posion'. We worked on it in two days. The first day we were in the studio mainly producing the song. It's actually one of the first times I went in and produced the song. Like literally helped him with the synths and stuff. I've been really getting into producing but anyway yeah the production was finished in one night and the next day I went in and wrote to it. That was it. It was a lot of fun and I think it was one of the first songs we worked on together for the album." About other producers she was working with Swift gave some more hot boiling tea. "I worked with a NYC group called The Knocks who helped me make some of the best songs for the record. People will be really impressed with them." NRJ made sure to ask Taylor when they would be able to play the lead single from the record, Taylor gave a major exclusive. "You will be able to play the song in less than a week. I just let the world know the release date of my song without my label's consent but hey. They are already whipped." Swif then giggled and walked out with a hairflip and got changed.

Capital FM Summetime Ball
Taylor Swift has been doing heavy promotion in Europe this week as she's been performing at countless music festivals and concerts for radio. Doing NRJ Radio's Energy Stars for Free Concert in Stockholm yesterday Swift was live today in London England at Wembley Stadium where she was the headliner of Capital FM's Summertime Ball. One of the last acts to go on stage Swift performed ten songs for the event held by the biggest radio stadion in London. To the 70,000 people in the arena who were watching Swift kill it on stage, they seemed the most energetic for Swift's setlist. Capital FM were hyping Taylor's set most of the day as it was one of the most tweeted and talked about. Taylor gave some of her old hits some light as she sang songs like '22' and more, a song she hasn't performed in almost a year now. You can stream Swift's set on Capital FM's official website as the set was also played on radio by Capital FM

Late Night with Jools Holland
Taylor Swift continued her European promotion for her Coven 13 extended play as tonight she was live on Later... With Jools Holland or whatever the show's called. Swift was announced last minute as the main act for the late night show that focuses mainly on music. Taylor performed four songs on the show, the same amount as she did a few weeks ago when promoting a song that clearly no one remember since it after all wasn't her song. The four songs Taylor performed were from her extended play. The first song being 'Money & Love' which Swift called revealed some information about. "Money & Love is an interesting song and the story behind it is too. Many think it's about my relationship with Brendon but it isn't. I actually wrote it about love in the music industry. So many people say they love you but all they are really after is riches and stuff. That's why I kind of wrote the song and you know the lyric that goes "all you ever need is money & love". That's sort of a little background about the song." The other songs Swift performed was her current lead single 'Gunshots', 'Before The Worst' and 'Minds Interrupted in which Charli XCX joined her on stage for. Swift also talked to Jools about her next upcoming album. "The next album is coming out in less than three or in three weeks and I'm so excited for people to hear it. It's kind of a risky sound and direction for me to go in but I feel really accomplished and proud of it. I made a lot of people I work with proud with the record so I hope I can do the same for my fans and all those who happened to be massive disco listeners back in the day. I really did my best to study the sound of disco from some of the greats like Giorgio Moroder so I hope all goes well. Hopefully."

Zedd and Lady Gaga host, perform on Saturday Night Live

Zedd and Lady Gaga hosted a special midsummer episode of Saturday Night Live tonight. They also performed their single "Temple" as well.
The two split the monologue; they basically just told jokes about their careers. They threw one story about Gaga's dog at the audience that sent them into 10 seconds straight of laughter. She said, "Asia... I just love her so much. Today, she decided she wanted to take a nap with me. I was busy writing a song, but she did not give a ****. She hopped on a stack of books, onto my lap, then onto the table I was working on, and sat right on the paper! I said, "Aww, I should be mad at you but I just can't!" There was a mix of laughter and aww-ing, until Zedd muttered to the audience, "Someone doesn't know how to train a dog..." This sent the audience into laughing for ten whole seconds. Zedd made some jokes about EDM producers, such as Deadmau5 and Skrillex (who are friends of his). Gaga made jokes about ARTPOP and its underperformance. At least she's a good sport, right?
Gaga arriving at the SNL studio.
There were two performances from the pair on the show. The first was a dual performance of "Aura" and "Stache". Gaga electrified the audience both in-studio and at home with her theatrical performance of "Aura". It then transitioned into "Stache", which basically had a performance relating to... you guessed it, cannabis! The audience loved this performance, and it was discussed heavily on Twitter, becoming a trending topic.
Zedd performing "Temple."
The second performance was a performance of "Temple." It was based on the performance on Kimmel earlier this week, and also the music video. It starts out with a bunch of lights flashing and Gaga walking on stage in a thin white dress and collapsing. She appears to be pulled up and over to the DJ deck with Zedd in it. Zedd starts playing the track, and Gaga starts singing. Her dancers come in for the first chorus, and they dance until the bridge, where she collapses. The music stops, and her dancers drag her over to the DJ deck and rip her dress off, revealing a white bra and garden panties.. Zedd knows the cure for this coma and resumes the track at the bridge. Gaga is revived and starts singing her powerhouse vocals. The final chorus comes on, and Gaga is standing and singing while body paint is rubbed on her by her dancers. After the song ends, her dancers cartwheel off stage, and Taylor Kinney (Gaga's boyfriend) comes on stage to whisk her away. Zedd smiles at the camera, and it goes dark. It cuts to a view of the whole stage, and Zedd tells everyone to buy "Temple" on Amazon and Google Play, to watch the video on YouTube and Vevo, and to preorder Serenity, his new album coming out on Tuesday. Overall, it was an electrifying night and it was a trending topic until Sunday morning.
"Temple" is the second single from Zedd's sophomore album Serenity.

The Noite Performance
Taylor Swift was live on The Noite show where she interviewed and also performed. Taylor sat down for an interview first where she talked about things such as her relationship status, her new upcoming album, and more. "My new album is very disco. I don't know if you guys are avid disco listeners but yeah. I worked with Giorgio Moroder on the record and we produced some really sexy and powerful songs. They range from uptempo to ballads but it's all really cohesive and just amazing. If you guys are familiar with Donna Summer and Blondie you'll really like the record. I have a few really good songs on the record that I think everyone will love." Swift was full of neergy and even flirted a bit with the host as she talked about her relationship status. "I've lied these past few weeks saying I'm in a relationship. People won't leave me alone about it like now but I'm currently single but you know if you or anyone else here wants to change that feel free. Just know I'lll write a song about you." Following the interview Swift performed her number one single 'Gunshots' that she features on for Zendaya.

Zedd sues Apple!
Hit producer Zedd has sued the computer giant Apple for losses due to Apple's handling of his sponsorship deals.
Apple had removed all of Zedd's own songs (including the entire Clarity album, "Find You," "Slay," and "Temple") as well as his features and productions ("Break Free," "G.U.Y.," "Aura," "Donatella," "I Don't Like You," "Beauty and a Beat"). Apple has stated that this is not a glitch but was intentional. This all just happened a few days ago.
Apple stated they removed them because Zedd broke his contract; Zedd states that the contract had ended and he wished to pursue other sponsorship opportunities. All artists involved and their fans as well as the media are all on Zedd's side.
Both parties have declined to comment at this time.
"Temple" is the second single from Zedd's sophomore album Serenity.

FUSE TV LIVE SPECIAL
Taylor Swift has been one of Fuse Tv's most covered artists in the news as of late. From the release of her controversial Coven 13 album which caused much backlash and buzz from conservatives, Swift hasn't stopped as she released a less controversial sequel to the record, an extended play called Coven 13. Both the studio album and extended play went straight to the top spot selling almost the exact same number of albums first week, a sign of Swift's consistency not only commercially but crtically as well as the coven 13 extended play was also a major hit for the critcs. Tonight Swift was live on Fuse TV for a live special. It featured Swift for an hour singing songs from her discogrpahy exclusive for Fuse TV where it aired. It was one of the most watched programs on Fuse TV the past few months ratings only being matched by Swift's contemporary Justin Bieber who is the King of Pop.
