Nah, it won't flop. You're right about it not selling as well, though. IU can drop a recording of her farts over a ***** popping beat stomping WA$$UP track and still sell 2mil. As one person mentioned, it was IU singing about Korea's favorite season during their favorite season, so it was always destined to be a hit. I'm interested to see how they do if they keep featuring female artists that are more famous than them on their tracks. I think someone like Suzy is definitely enough to sell well, though.
The Korean markets fixation on seasons as they relate to music, though. You've got spring songs, summer songs, and winter songs, but no fall songs, strangely. It seems like US is the opposite where late winter/early spring is the least important time for music.
