Watching Morning Joe on MSNBC and I'm happy the panel is finally backing Clinton in a way that shows the deep contrast between her and Trump. Fortunately, this weekend she was talking all about issues while Trump was on the trail throwing out the kitchen sink.

They basically are saying Trump and Clinton are in different leagues at the moment, which is good news for Clinton.

Sanders Cancels Meeting With HIV/AIDS Activists

Bernie Sanders has cancelled a meeting with HIV advocates his campaign affirmed days before the crucial New York Democratic primary he would attend, according to the activists who sought to arrange the meeting.

The 30-minute meeting between Sanders and HIV advocates was set for May 13 in Indianapolis. Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton also agreed to meet the activists, who say they’re are still on track to meet with her Thursday for one hour in New York City.

Hilary McQuie, director of U.S. policy and grassroots mobilization for the HIV/AIDS group Health GAP, told the Blade the Sanders campaign cancelled the meeting without explanation.

“He did cancel — no reason given and they have not rescheduled,” McQuie said. “We feel a bit burned by the bern, and hope they will answer our emails now.”

Noted activist Peter Staley tells the Blade that the Sanders campaign is no longer responding to their emails and calls.

This is like... not that big of a deal, but why wouldn't he just meet with them? I know he's on the campaign trail, but it's only 30 minutes and a while back he even went to the Vatican for a few days...

It is to the group (and victims of those illnesses). Both candidates were asked how they would handle AIDS/HIV in their presidencies earlier this year and that's when Hillary made that Reagan gaffe that she later apologized for. The group wants a meeting to discuss things like Prep.

I hope they get a call back soon

Bernie shouldn't stop. There are still a few primaries left, it makes perfect sense to allow everybody to vote first, especially the biggest state in the nation.

But like, I'm not sure I'd be for him staying after those primaries are finished.
