Maybe he does, maybe he doesn't. Right now, what he needs is more important than what the fans want. It's apparent that this constant touring for four years straight is starting to take its toll on him.
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the band broke up after the fifth album and the subsequent tour. Especially for Zayn.
