I think dance is the way: more acclaimed than pop without being too serious. Change your sound, not drastically, bring some bops and get some recognition. Her ROL can come in the future

I hope she doesn't go dance next album. It doesn't feel... right. She needs something timeless. Something that can't necessarily be labelled as "pop", "dance", "hip hip" etc. Something new. Pretty much all dance music is dated eventually.
