I know!! We do like our receipts here!! Well that person said they're involved with the ceremony. If the lineup is complete, then they should be releasing a press release soon.
Of course you know I'm already searching for it, haha. I found this cool little fact about the inauguration:

For one, it falls on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. It's a lovely coincidence and an honor that our first African-American president will begin his second term on a day that honors the great civil rights leader. I can only imagine King would have loved the chance to see Obama take the Oath of Office.

Yeah I think his team hand picks the performers. They might have picked Kelly since she's a republican who voted for Obama twice!
Also, she's done a few things with him before. She's the one who awarded him his Grammy before he was president, sang at the Fourth of July special in 2010, and they did the "Get Schooled" special with Kelly.

Speaking of Grammys. I need to find out when the voting deadline is!! If it's after the inauguration, maybe that will give voters a reminder how awesome she is!! I want her to win at least one grammy next year!!! And a televised one, so she can kiss Brandon, make an adorable/hot mess crying speech, and everyone falls in love with her all over again

I'll admit the vocals sound much clearer and more "live" in PLU, but the "oh oh" chorus couldn't get any more washed, rinsed, and repeated. And it's not even infectious as the "oh oh"s you find in Till the World Ends, Good Time, or even Chasing the Sun to name a few. "Stronger" better showcases the vocal acrobats and belts in the chorus, and that's what makes the song superior.
Just my opinion though. I hope and still believe PLU will smash
