I have given up on trying to get wired connection. Which means I won't be able to get half of the team I initially wanted. I guess I will make a new team and maybe keep a few from my previous selected team.
Just use pokegen to create a legal pokemon(if u want)
I have never had a harder time creating a team. 5 Pokémon have already made the cut, but I still have no Flying, Water or Electric moves. It's also a must for that sixth Pokémon to be able to learn Fly and Surf. Dragonite seems to be the only one that can cover all those things.
Here's what my team looks like right now. I don't even know how I feel about it.

We have the same Dragonite
Looks good to me. You could get rid of Psybeam and Omnious Wind or Shadow Ball for moves with more coverage if you wanted. Can Espeon learn Signal Beam? That would be a good move for her.
Welp, I'm back to HeartGold to train my Pokemon up to like level 85 to battle Red eventually.
Gonna rematch gym leaders, do a ton of Elite 4 runs... lordT. This is gonna be messy. I wish I just had an assload of Rare Candies to get this **** over with.
Is it best to get a 3ds or a ds that plays GB games so I can still play emerald?
I assume you have a GBA to play your 3rd Generation Pokémon on, so I'd buy a 3DS(XL), you can play 4th, 5th and soon 6th (maybe even 7th ) Generation Pokémon on it. It would be a mess to buy a normal DS where you can't even play the newest Generations on...
Just finished the 4th gym and did some training. Getting closer to the 5th gym. Zorua and Dratini finally evolved and I finally have Venusaur! All my Pokemon are officially evolved at least once. In the future: Milotic will learn Surf (to replace Scald) and I may teach Volcarona Fly. Venusaur knows Earthquake now.
Meta (Metang) Level 31
Brick Break
Earthquake
Flash Cannon
Psychic
You know, I was wondering that too at first. It just came like that when I put the code in. It also has Pokerus and is technically a traded Pokemon, so it gets a 50% EXP bonus.

Really? I think it's the first time I use a Dragonite. Hopefully it works out well.
Espeon has a pretty shitty movepool, it can only cover a handful of types. I'm pretty sure I will switch Psybeam for either Signal Beam or Grass Knot. As for Froslass, Shadow Ball can easily be changed for Water Pulse or Toxic to cover more types, but I'm still not sure.
