I'm going for a month. The building on fire is a government building, and was probably from the revolution 2 years ago.

Yes, I've planned the trip down. 8 days in Cairo, a week tour of the south (including a 3 day nile cruise.) 5 days on the beaches of Hughada, 2 days in Alexandria and the last few days chillin in Cairo again.

Egypt is amazing, gurls. Although the people here drive like maniacs. Crossing the road is a basically one game of Russian roulette, as nobody actually stops for pedestrians.

There were some nasty protests last night / yesterday. I saw the beginning of one well getting lunch. I saw someone get a rock thrown in the face. Yeah, it was pretty bloody.

I found out this morning, people died during the protests.

Still an amazing place tho. I'll post pics later.

Also...... the heat is incredible. 40 degrees today.
