So Bonnie comes up with the concepts, writes the songs and then Kum Perry comes in, adds a few lines here and there and supposedly she "wrote" the songs?

Katy Perry's songwriters (Bonnie and Dr. Luke) both try to spin the fact that they write her songs into something positive. Remember, in that Dr. Luke Rolling Stone interview (the one where he shades Kesha and talks about submitting songs for Katy Perry), Dr. Luke says that he has to "work hard" to get Katy Perry to accept his songs, and that Katy Perry "doesn't just blindly accept anything" he gives her; he has to prove his songs belong on her album. Basically, it takes him more effort to force himself onto Katy Perry than it does for himself to force himself on Kesha. Bonnie McKee says the same thing about writing and submitting songs for Katy Perry. That's all good and well, but it really makes Perry no different than Beyoncé.
Well, maybe Katy Perry is slightly better than Beyoncé because at least she's not trying to
pass off that she came up with the ideas for every single song on every single album.
