'Winter's Bone' was her best performance, I agree. Hopefully she will tone things down after 'Hunger Games' are over. She was too much in 'American Hustle' (yet ironically was the only good part of the movie).

Bad taste knows no bounds when it comes to any demographic or cultural barriers; the sooner people realize that the better. That being said ofc the success of Gone Girl is not an example of bad taste at work on anybody's part.
