Mariah Carey released her original Christmas album at her prime in 1994 and its lead single "All I Want For Christmas Is You" became an eternal holiday classic.

I would like Adele to do just that but most likely her next release will be something very different.

No Christmas album for a while pleaseeee, they're quite tacky. Just serve the next album in a reasonable amount of time and the need to intermediately quench the thirst goes away.

I got pitch tickets for the 29th and 1st in the general but now I can't go because I can't afford all the travel to London/work it out with school/etc. mess I'm in the process of returning them to the retailer who then sells them to someone else (same price) to use. The disappointment is real, hopefully they film the shows I guess.

Adele albums are already the perfect Christmas presents anyway so an Adele Christmas album is pretty redundant

I'm still hoping she'll add final shows to Brazil, then if those are the final shows added I'll be satisfied, but I'm still hoping she'll add a select stadiums in the US

^^ The most recent email with the added Wembley shows called them the "last shows of 2017", and the presales for all four are not just open to Europe (like their arena dates were), which makes me think this is it for this tour. SA lost their **** on Twitter, it was basically them versus US/Europe trying to explain how our governments advise zero travel there because of Zika I think the time was set out in April/May with them in mind but ultimately it was decided that she wasn't going.
Imo select stadiums in the US would almost be overkill now simply because she'd have done her last show with the same music as recently as this past November (they'd still sell out obviously). Next US dates should be in a complete summer stadium tour in support of a new album.

She should only do a Christmas album if she's going to take another super long break. But she really has no reason to, so I hope that's not the case. As long as she's not taking another long break, she doesn't need to bridge the gap between anything, so I can wait (but I hope she does a Christmas album at some point in her career).

As for the Wembley setlist, I agree. She needs to change up the setlist a bit. I love everything in the setlist at the moment, but she should add "I'll Be Waiting, "River Lea," and "Why Do You Love Me" so there's more upbeat songs. Also, she should do a cover for those shows. On the last tour, she did "I Can't Make You Love Me" during the iTunes Festival and the Royal Albert Hall. If any of these shows are being filmed for the DVD, she should do another cover ("Landslide" or "The Way We Were," PLEASE)!

Whatever the reason for her not going to Brazil is, she better give them some sort of an official explanation. If she just leaves it hanging like this, some people will think it was because of zika-virus, while others will think she genuinely loathes SA. Let them know why you're not going, yeah.

Agreed. She's said before that she was going; if she's going to backtrack on those comments, she needs to give them an explanation. I'd be pretty upset if I was a South American fan that was planning on her touring there.
