As for Madison, her gang rape was the first start of it, but for most of the season, she was as insufferably evil as Chanel is until her monologue in episode 7.
I'm just hoping she'll have more development in the future. I'm sure she will. Ryan's not gonna make absolutely everyone just one-note, and though her other scenes didn't make her sympathetic, I don't think it's fair to say she's entirely one-note.
Also, mess @ me usually being the one to write essays but me faltering to match your length right now.

Ohhh. Yeah, I do get you there and that's definitely a problem with slashers in general.
IDK, she was a bitch, but in eps 1/2/3 she seemed to genuinely like Zoe. You get her inviting her to parties, reviving dead boyfriends, etc. There was some layering there.
I think future development is my biggest fear with Chanel. Nothing in this episode really suggested even the potential for her to grow as a person. (Chad at least had the Boone stuff, Chanel #3 wants to call the cops, Chanel #5 is a "loyal friend" supposedly, etc.)
She's not ENTIRELY one-note, but she is kinda close. And her humor kind was (how outrageously bitchy can she get?). As said, she's not my least fav. (that dubious honor goes to #2 and Denise) and I like her in smaller does
I'm a film student and a horror/TV buff. I can do essays like no other in this subject

(I actually feel guilty about them because I don't want to like... overpower, I totally respective your PoV. I just like expressing and clarifying mine + enjoy debates like this
