It wasn't exactly cheated, but they knew what they were doing. It would be like One Direction / Justin Bieber making every song on their album a single, and releasing Music Videos to have them all go #1 off streaming.

They knew they were really, really, really big so released anything and anything went #1.

They had 6 singles go #1 in a year. Those are the singles that went #1 alone. No artists has that many singles even become popular, they most likely had lots and lots of sales from their sales.

Sis, if we got TECHNICAL on had Mariah used tricks on all her singles and done the tricks fully - she'd have over 25+ #1's if the label pushed singles harder than her albums
