What the **** are you going on about? I understand that the melody and chord progressions in BTW are very basic. But the album itself isn't basic in the slightest. It IS musically complex.

Sure, but my point is that the two albums are definitely in each other's league. It's not like one is "mary had a little Lamb" and the other "Nutcracker".

In fact, Now Magazine, Rolling Stones, NME, and Slant all gave higher score to BTW than to 21.

If you are just saying that the majority believes 21 is "musically better" I agree, but there are still plenty of people (including myself) who think differently.

Sure they do but like I was saying I doubt most of the voters are going to be saying. Oh.... Many of Gaga's songs on this album have the same Chord progressions..... Hmm That's a bad thing I guess I'll just have to vote for another album. I just don't see that.

I totally get what you're saying though, even though I believe they are not as prestigious as people make the voters seem. They will most likely know what makes a good album and how it should flow being that they work with music themselves. Then there are those that are just biased in general.

Also, just like every other award show, the Grammys are rigged. If Gaga's label wanted to win, they could pay people off. How do you think a certain friend of Gaga's has so many Grammy Awards? If Adele wins, I'll be happy. If Gaga wins, I'll be happy. They both deserve it.

At the end of the day, the Grammy voters are people just like you and me and they have opinions. However, unfortunately, people tend to snub pop albums, so...

Not necessarily. I mean, yeah, Adele has an amazing voice, but I feel BTW showcases vocal ability much more than 21. Gaga experiments with her voice a lot on this album. I would like to hear Adele's Americano-like banshee screams.
