The once so called "answer" to Britney Spears now has nothing but sympathy for the troubled star. Avril Lavigne revealed in the new issue of Maxim magazine that she is on Britney's side. "No one else has it as hard as Britney," she told the magazine. "I feel bad for her. How does she even think with all those flashbulbs? When I'm being followed, everything's thrown off. They run red lights. They cause accidents. She can't even walk to her car. F%&$%@! stalkers." Avril also slashed rumors of her pregnancy with Sum 41's Deryck Whibley's unborn child. Avril was "Disgusted" at the accusations, saying "Remember in high school when people would start fake rumors about you?" she asked. "Well, this isn't high school. It's like, the entire world." Avril Lavigne To Write Some New Acoustic Tracks?
According to Rolling Stone, Avril Lavigne is to dive back into writing some new acoustic songs once the North American and Canadian legs of her upcoming world tour end in June. In the same interview in which she confessed that she'd be covering Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation", along with playing a montage of her flipping the bird, she said: "I have so much creative energy, so I’ve been writing,”. But here's the truly exciting part: “I want to do more acoustic stuff. It doesn’t mean that’s what my next record is going to be, but I’m doing it to get it out.”! Can you wait? I know I can't!
