Just tracked YouTube numbers for this week and wow, I'm really surprised, good news for Selena coming up She actually pulled way better numbers than I expected
Why are major artists releasing on Fridays? Is friday the new monday or something like that? After all this time, I'm still kinda confused.
Friday is the new release day everywhere in the world. That's why bilboard changed its tracking period and why it comes out on Mondays now instead of Thursdays.
Praying for The Hills to be #1 & Good For You #5 next week
I don't stan for "Can't Feel My Face", but I do for "The Hills". Hope it tops the Hot 100 next week, so he can replace himself since Taylor Swift did it last year.

Irrelevant but interesting fact: If "The Hills" does indeed go #1 this week, it will be the first to go #1 without Hot AC support since "Harlem Shake", and the first non-debut to do so since Kworb started tracking airplay. However, going by Wikipedia, there hasn't been a non-debuting #1 that didn't go Top 40 on Hot AC since 2008, where "Whatever You Like", "Love In This Club", and "Lollipop" all missed the top 40.
F*ck, so Streaming went better than I thought for Selena but Airplay is not that good like I was expecting, nothing's sure yet just that's gonna be really close, every damn point will be important

Still waiting for Spotify numbers to post predictions
Out of female songs that peaked in streaming this year, the only ones that made it to T5 are Grammy Blood, Love Me Like You Do, and for one week before leaving the T10 altogether Elastic Heart.
I guess streaming is the most lopsidedly male this year, then the H100, then radio, then sales.
