i can't believe that you are thinking about "videophone can hurt telephone"
if a song is good people buy it even there's a song with the same people .. and in this situation videophone doesn't hurt because it flopped hard (and i think they knew that because radio started playing telephone in october)
and telephone is very different from the other gaga's song ( it doesn't even sound like a gaga song) so people could be more tired of bad romance or monster than telephone...

gaga isn't going to die.. she is just releasing pop songs ...
But as airplay goes up the more people will buy it. I think most of the true fans have already bought the single. Is up to the general public and late fans to buy it and make it go up.
