Welcome castaways to your 1st Results Show! Below will be the rates of each entry from all four judges. You were all rated on a scale of 1 to 10. Your average score will be added into a tribe average which will determine which tribe is losing a member,

After I post the scores, I will give you all a few minutes to look them over before I post the final results which will include how you ranked on your tribe, against all castaways, and finally the overall tribe rankings this round.

The lowest averaging tribe will be headed to Trial Council where they will vote off one member who will become the first eliminated player of the season.

1. Element - Jordin Sparks - I Am Woman

Dylan - 9 - This one totally slipped my mind when I was thinking of potential entries this round. But it is indeed a woman power anthem from the ttile to the sassy lyrics! It may have ended Jordin's career but it's getting you off to a good start this season.

Yvess - 10 - Slay Ellie! I honestly think that this song is truly powerful! Jordin Sparks truly made the song remarkable with her awesome voice that blended so well with the spot on lyrics that has an undeniable angst. My Fave Part: "Respect it's all that I'm asking. Women bless life, equals alright. No woman no life. I like to see him try"

Mario - 10 - "Ain't nobody else can do it quite like we can". Empowering and fierce. Spot on!

Ethan - 10 - You’re always a standout, so it’s not surprising to see that you started off strong! Excellent choice, even if I hate the song.

2. Bloomers - Ciara feat. Nicki Minaj - I'm Out

Dylan - 7 - It's empowerment to a degree. It's a bit trivial compared to some of the more powerhouse entries but it mentions girls going out and not being sad and gloomy over a guy who didn't deserve them in the first place so I'd say it's an average fit. Decent choice!

Yvess - 7.5 - I like how much the song gives that fiery vibe that every woman should possess, it is just that some of its lyrics didn't blend well with the round's theme. It is more on empowering one's self after a breakup and make the new girl of your ex feel inferior. But if gaining self confidence is what you are aiming for, this song truly has it.

Mario - 7.5 - Rather about some post break-up empowering and rebuild than woman empowerment for itself but the song still touches element of the theme.

Ethan - 8 - I can definitely see where this would empower women! It falls short of a perfect score because the song’s theme seems to revolve more around “celebrating the break up” rather than just celebrating being a woman.

3. Guero - Ciara - Like A Boy

Dylan - 9 - Nice pick Guero. The whole song is pointing out the double standards in relationships where men get away with things while women are shamed. Reminiscent of the example I provided, in a good way of course!

Yvess - 6 - The song is speaking about how a woman wants to be a boy to make her beau feel how it feels to be played and tricked, It is really not the way I envisioned this round to turn out. However, Props to Ciara for pointing out some double standards that every woman has to go through.

Mario - 9.5 - The song displays the double standards given by society about how men can act in a way but women can't. Cici points her finger at the disparity of this in the track. Good one.

Ethan - 6 I give you some credit because the context of the song definitely is female-centered, and it does talk about double standards, but her frustration with her relationship seems to be the focus. Better luck next round!

4. genetic fail - Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun

Dylan - 8.5 - I think you have to be take into consideration the time era of this song to understand how it's empowering to women. It's all about a woman doing what she wants to do: not what daddy, mommy, or boyfriend want her to do. I preferred the hard-hiting songs this round but this is a different route that I rather like.

Yvess - 6 - I like this song in general but is this song really has that women empowering vibe? I am halfhearted on that. This song may not really give out what every woman should act and feel about themselves. It is okay to be careless and have fun at times but will you still consider it empowering when the protagonist in the song is being asked by her parents on how and when she will get her life right? Sorry Genetic.

Mario - 8 - The song talks about how girls are expected to behave in a certain way in comparison to boys and Cyndi expressed genre freedom but the lyrics are not as explicitly linked to the theme as other entries.

Ethan - 9 - Is it as straight-forward as it would have been if Beyonce had “written” it? No, but it is definitely a female-empowerment anthem and it’s a classic. Excellent choice! Please don’t flake out on this game.

5. Flame Beat Z000 - Lily Allen - Hard Out Here

Dylan - 9.5 - So glad this was picked. Lily has this sarcasm to her that just triumphs on tracks like this, being the major feminist she is. Everything she says is so true and I love the way she does it so shamlessly. Awesome grab Flame.

Yvess - 7.5 - The song really had some excellent references to women stereotypes and double standards but it also contradicts our theme in a way. The part wherein she sings that women should trust that inequality and injustice is here to stay is like accepting defeat and may not be that empowering to all women out there.

Mario - 10 - The song tackles both the double standards and different treatment for women in the music industry and in society generally. Furthermore, Lily rallies women up against these discriminations and push them to "grow a pair.. of ****" because they have the same rights a man has, but they have the plus only women can have.

Ethan - 9 - Great choice! It was not one of the first ones that came to my mind, but it is definitely all about empowering women to own themselves and tear down the double standards.

6. wesleywalrus - Destiny’s Child – Survivor

Dylan - 6.5 - This one was hard to score. It is such an empowering track but it doesn't specifically only apply to females which is where it threw me off. Yeah, it's 3 females singing it but there's more to girl power than just girls singing it. I needed a bit more specific lyrics. Very in the middle choice for me.

Yvess - 9 - Wow. The song is about a woman who chooses to stay classy and be the better person at the end of the day even she got hurt by a certain someone. The song's premise alone is a sure empowering track to women out there. My Fave Part: " After of all of the darkness and sadness Soon comes happiness If I surround my self with positive things I'll gain prosperity "

Mario - 5.5 - Eh, even though the song contains a subtle feminist background, I find it to be all about the post break-up side of a relationship with the girls saying they're better off without him. Not kinda connected with the theme, though.

Ethan - 5 - Of the five words in this song that are repeated over and over, I don’t see anything that points to females. This is a song for anybody who’s been scorned in love. It’s empowering, and I love the song, but this was not what I was looking for in this round. Better luck next round!

7. musicfan09 - Selena Gomez & The Scene - Who Says

Dylan - 5 - The problem with this is it's not empowering production wise and the lyrics while pertaining more to females with the pretty talk, could be applied to anyone who's been bullied really. It fits in the mold of Firework, Born This Way, Perfect, etc self-empowerment tracks more than specifically female. An uneasy choice. You can do better.

Yvess - 9 - YAAAAAAAAAS! This is one of the songs that encapsulates what our theme for round 1 is. Some women all over the world feels insecure about how they look and how can their voices be heard, this song is a good choice to encourage any woman to feel better about themselves and stop being too harsh on how they perceive themselves. My Fave Part: " Who says you’re not star potential? Who says you’re not presidential? Who says you can’t be in movies? Listen to me, listen to me Who says you don’t pass the test? Who says you can’t be the best? Who said, who said? Would you tell me who said that?"

Mario - 3 - Sorry, this song is about self-empowering but that's all. Not a single thing linked to girl power is mentioned in it and it could be applied to every gender and living or inanimate thing.

Ethan - 8 - I wanted to love this choice because it’s so obvious that Selena’s writing camp wanted this song to be a female empowerment anthem, and I believe it is, but it’s just not as straight-forward as some of the other choices. It was still a great choice, there are only so many perfect choices though. I bet you’ll kill it next round!

8. Janelle Monáe - Q.U.E.E.N.

Dylan - 6.5 - I like the track but unlike the majority of the album, this song is dedicated to any oppressed people, including women but not only. There's specific lyrics regarding women and their sexualities but overall it's an empowering track for just about anyone. Specifics are important. You came late to the game so hopefully you'll have next round to improve.

Yvess - 7 - Cute song and the good sis Janelle really made the song worth listening to. It has that empowerment vibe but doesn't really have that direct response to what every woman is going through.

Mario - 7 - I see this song fitting more in empowering the Black community, the LGBT one and Janelle herself but, by doing this, she also includes the disparity towards women who are seen as dirty for acting just like they want. Not perfectly centered around the theme but it ouches some elements.

Ethan - 10
She’s really calling out all the BS towards the end, but the whole song is all about making women realize that they are a queen just the way they are. I’d never heard it, so it was cool to listen to! Great choice.

Tribe Dalgani

1. Bey_RihStan - Rihanna - G4L

Dylan - 7.5 - This was an odd choice but it actually works better than expected. It seems to explain a bunch of women teaming up against someone who wronged them so in that way it's girl power. However, the dark theme somewhat tackles revenge a it more than girl power at times. Still, a decent fit this round.

Yvess - 6.5 - Rihanna licks the gun cause she knows that revenge is sweet. The lyrics screams how strong of a girl RiRi is but it is hard for me to see the women empowerment in this song.

Mario - 8 - Rih tells us how girls stick together against the evil (probably domestic violence) and how no one can disrespect them without expecting their revenge back. Could've been better but I think it touches the theme.

Ethan - 6 - I’m sorry, dude. I’m never going to appreciate a Rihanna song. I give you partial credit because the bridge where she says “Girls, come on, […] we’re an army,” etc. could be interpreted as empowering females, but the overall song is not conveying that message. I wish I liked it!

2. Lucky#17 - Aretha Franklin - Respect

Dylan - 9 - Well this is basically a feminist classic and was one of the first to come along so nice throwback. It's all about how women should receive and demand respect from their significant others. The attitude Aretha has in delivery can do no wrong either. Cool pick.

Yvess - 7.5 - Every woman deserves respect and Aretha surely belted her way to get her man understand her point. I commend you for sending in this classic song. *inserts Aretha Franklin gif*

Mario - 10 - Probably one of the boldest statement in support of female empowerment and ahead of time, given the historical situation in which was released, which makes it even a stronger song for this theme. Great choice.

Ethan - 4 - This song was written and originally performed by a man. Aretha turned it into a classic, but very little about it actually has anything to do with empowering females. I’m giving you some points because of the impact the song has had on women, but this was not a good choice.

3. Xedretinz Lododnz - Alicia Keys - Girl On Fire

Dylan - 8.5 - I remember she performed this for a solid two years straight so I kinda hate the song but have to admit it is empowering for women. It's a large round of applause for women's achievments in this world, which are rarely applauded. Good job XL.

Yvess - 8 - Fierce and explosive, thats what this song is for me. Every woman will be inspired to have everyone look at them as that "strong woman" despite the hardships she's going through.

Mario - 9.5 - I love how this starts like a self-empowering anthem but then, in a crescendo, it transforms into a song dedicated to all the women.

Ethan - 10 - I had to look at the lyrics, but after careful consideration, I can dig it! Everything about the song is about celebrating women. Welcome, I hate your username, I hope you enjoy this game!

4. Ivory. - Maddie & Tae - Girl In A Country Song

Dylan - 8 - I always loved that they did this as a country song. It takes a dig at that bro-country dominance that's all the country music indsutry. So much gender inequality is in this genre as you can see when you only have two majorly successful female artists left. Anyway, I like this. It was different.

Yvess - 8.5 - The song's lyrics is cute and fun, what I like more about this is that it sounds like a constant reminder to every girl that they should be respected as long as they truly value their self worth.

Mario - 8.5 - The lyrics must be the funniest of the bunch. I wish they expanded in other zones other than the dressing pretty and the endearing nicknames but it's quite fitting.

Ethan - 9 - I love how defiant they are! I’d heard this song but hated it. I still do, but I appreciate it’s message and what it stands for. Great choice!

5. Mariah4life - Destiny’s Child - Jumpin‘, Jumpin'

Dylan - 6 - It's more of a party track than anything. Yes the first verse applies to women going out and having fun on their own, but then the second verse twists the story telling men to go out without their ladies as well so it's really a gender-neutral track in the end. I think you may have missed that when submitting. Better luck next round.

Yvess - 7.5 - Another DC Song, it empowers women to still have fun and don't tie themselves to their man whose out partying or doin some stuff with their friends. Cool song but not as strong compared to other Bey/DC songs this round.

Mario - 9 - This is not about women being better than men, but equal to them. They promote the fact that both men and women can have the same attitude without any of them receiving a different response for the genre they belong to. Good pick.

Ethan - 2 - I wish you’d been able to include an explanation with your selection, because I would have loved to read where you found female empowerment in this song. Please be careful and find choices that actually fit the round’s theme more specifically.

6. Goddess of Love. - Lady Gaga - Scheiße

Dylan - 7.5 - I wish there wasn't so much "German" because it took away from the female empowerment verses that I really like in the song. I know it comes from feminist origins but I needed more of that and the gibberish downplayed all of that. Okay choice!

Yvess - 8 - One of Mother Monster's strong songs from her body of work. I literally needed to translate other lyrics. Gaga really excels on empowering women in this track. I just wished she got to sing more about how every woman should be when they face the typical struggles of life, etc.

Mario - 10 - This song tackles an extremely feminist message. All about the strength and the independence of a woman. Totally fitting.

Ethan - 7 - There are parts of this song that are perfect, and then there are parts that are LITERALLY gibberish. It was not a bad choice at all, but there are choices that are significantly better.

7. Bitchcraft - The Pussycat Dolls - I Don't Need A Man

Dylan - 8.5 - Lots of girl groups this round. The song is clearly promoting female independence from men. I always adore Melody's ad libs but also laugh at the fact that's literally all Nicole used for her, Guess it's better than being a backup dancer though. But back to the point, solid choice and representation of girl power.

Yvess - 9 - When you think of PCD, they may give you the impression that they are just a bunch of girls that is thirsty for some D. But this track proved that Nicole and her backup dancers can deliver some women empowerment songs. My Fave Part: " The more you try, The less I buy itAnd I don't have to think it through. You know if I'm feeling you"

Mario - 8 - It sounds mostly self-empowering rather than carrying a message for the whole feminine genre but it's somehow fitting.

Ethan - 8 - Cool choice! I should have guessed the Pussycat Doll would make an appearance. While I appreciate the female empowerment aspect of this choice, I think too much focus is placed on celebrating being single rather than celebrating women doing whatever the want.

8. T-Swizz - Beyoncé - Run The World (Girls)

Dylan - 9.5 - An obvious choice but you'll see that's not a bad thing in this game. If a song's a great fit, it doesn't matter how obvious it is. I love the instrumental and while the lyrics aren't as complex as Flawless (suprised that wasn't sent), it's the definition of female empowerment. Great start!

Yvess - 10 - Need to say more? Bey literally nailed what this round is truly about. The anthemic vibe of the chorus says it all. Slayyyyy! My Fave Part: " I know you love it How we're smart
enough to make these millions Strong enough to bear the children Then get back to business"

Mario - 10 - THE girl power anthem of these recent years. Expected entry but still extremely on point.

Ethan - 10 - Killed it, dude! I bet you weren't the only one that thought of this one, it's the first one that came to my mind. All about women empowerment!
