"If you could flick a switch and open your third eye,
You'd see that we should never be afraid to die..."
I love how Muse has expressed their political views and conspiracy beliefs and how they were able to incorporate all ideas into an infectious track called "Uprising." The song is pretty self-explanatory and is a call for us to stand up and fight to retrieve and give the power back to the people. A call for a resistance against fat cats that have been controlling us.

"I used to be love drunk
But now I'm hung over..."
I can't find a better line...
Power pop meets punk rock --- best describes Boys Like Girls' working formula since their first album. "Love Drunk," which is the title track and the carrier single of their latest album, works with the same equation. Semi-stupid and sometimes trying-to-be-witty lyrics infused into a catchy, fun and melodic punk sound is a perfect strike to the ears of the younger and teen audience and a result, another smash top ten hit for the band.

"Taking everything for granted but we still respect the time
We move along with some new passion knowing everything is fine..."
A line in reference to the band split-up?
Just when you think the panic is over, P!@tD in perfect timing, came out with a new single "New Perspective," a song lifted from the Jennifer's Body Soundtrack. Probably titled as such because of the band's recent break-up leaving behind two members, Brendon Urie goes back to their roots and back to what they were best known for, playing with words with an indirect and confusing definition in a fun and upbeat sound. This one though may not be as confusing as their other tracks, but it certainly has the elements of a Panic! song. Glad to have the old Panic! sound back, but this time with a slight hint of maturity. Can't wait for their next album.
