If we had "The Climb" last 2009, this 2010, we will have another ballad from Miley and it is "When I Look At You". Honestly, I prefer this over "The Climb". The song is about giving a person a second chance. I really love how she sings it. It just made me a fan of her. The video is gorgeous because she looks beautiful there and she is ripping off the beginning of David Archuleta's "Crush". This is my favorite track on the EP. Because of this song, I just wanna watch her movie.

. This one is for you, eteru. This track made me a fan of her. It so catchy and it can be stuck on you head for weeks! Even the haters love this one too! Miley did a great job for this one. And did I just say that the video is so hot? Miley came out of Sweet Disney Girl closet and reveal her ****ty side. Work that pole, Miley!
13. Daughtry - Life After You

In the "Leave This Town" album, before I listen to "September", "Life After You" is my favorite track on the album. This type of songs is really my thing. I know that he is going to release this as a single and I'm correct. The lyrics is also a tearjerker and the sound of the song is the one that can make you sad for a moment. The video reminds me a little bit of "Home". "Hard to believe that a man with sight can be so blind" just really make me wow and made me guilty about it. I know it didn't match the success of his previous singles but I hope it's not too late for this song to be a hit.
13. Britney Spears - Circus

Aww sorry Britney fans, she didn't make it on the top 10. If I am not counting "Quicksand", this is the best track on the album. This one is also one of the most anticipated single this year. The refrain and the chorus is infectious, I tell you. The video is hot and it is so famous, those PETA bitches are bothered. Britney looks hot in the video. The song debut and peak at #3 on the US charts and it deserves it. I hope Britney will do more stuffs like this. I really love this type of music.
11. Beyonce - Halo

Bee fans, time for celebration? Halo for me is the best song on the album. The song is so angelic. i love it. I find peace on this song. Everytime Im stressed, I will just play this onmy player then voila, I'm okay again. her vocals also is here is just too perfect. The video, for the first time, has colors but too much light exposure but even it is colored, it is one of her most boring video ever. I really want this song to be in my top 10 but there more songs that I'm more addicted than this. The song is now nominated for Record Of The Year at Grammy and nominated for Song Of The Year and Best Female Vocal Performance at ATRL Grammy.
10. Paramore - Brick By Boring Brick

Do you think this song is too low? It is low because it is released late. Maybe if this is the first single, It might chart higher. This is the best track on their album, "Brand New Eyes". When the acoustic one leaked, I know it will be more great if the studio version leaked and voila, when the studio version leaked, it didn't disappoint me. Hayley's voice there is so magnificent. The song is also telling a story about a fairytale. The video is probably one of the videos this decade. Hands down to the music video director of it. I am thinking if I will put this one again next year. i'm still addicted to this song]
9. Ke$ha - TiK ToK

After sleeping with Flo Rida for a super massive hit, Ke$ha tries to make her own song. What did it turn out? A great electro-pop song that makes you wake up like P. Diddy. If I will have my own party, this will be the song that will be first played. The song is just catchy although she can't really sing. Ke$ha is one crazy party animal so don't ask what is the song all about? The video connects to the song. Ke$ha sleeping with other house, goes to another house and party and will sleep again with another house. Homeless but a party animal. Go partying Ke$ha!

No, this is not a mash-up or remix, it's a TIE! Yes, a tie. I'm going to start with "The Climb". For me, this is Miley's best song before When I Look At You came. The song is about trying to break the barriers and reach your goal. This is her first country song and although it is not well received by the country critics, it still managed to be successful on the chart. It's one of my inspirational song, In my opinion, Miley should continue making these type of songs and stop with that Hannah Montana song. This is her last appearance on the list.
My Life... gives Kelly a big break! Giving her first #1 excluding her American Idol song and making the biggest jump ever on the Hot 100 chart. The song is about a dysfunctional relationship. I'm addicted to it when I first listen to this but quickly forgot this after I listened to the album. I honestly didn't include this on my list because I completely forget this song but thanks to the other YEC lists, I remember this and now put this on the top 10. I really love the vintage Kelly. She is slowly bringing back the amazing "Breakaway" era.
7. Cobra Starship f/ Leighton Meester - Good Girls Go Bad

Finally, after 5645675834547623 singles released by Cobra Starship, they finally get a hit. Thanks to Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester, the song becomes more addicting and infectious. If you think that the song is about party, well you are damn wrong. The song is about sex, sex, sex. The video is also a one party animal. The song is famous here in my country. I really hope they will not end as a one hit wonder. They deserve more success.
6. David Archuleta - Touch My Hand

What? David not on the top 5? Roy, ya serious? *slaps*. Oh bitch, yes, I'm serious. His supposed to be US-single, "Touch My Hand" is #6 on the list. When the album leaks, I find this song too cheesy and one of the weakest tracks. But after some spins, it grew on me. Just like Jeibert said, I find peace on this song. The song is about a him who is despite of having many girls surrounded him, he can only see the one she loves. The lyrics in my opinion is also cheesy but so what? it's catchy and highly claimed by the critics. It got a heavy airplay here and no wonder this song is famous here.
5. Keri Hilsonf/ Neyo and Kanye West - Knock You Down

Starting the top 5 is the RnB song of the year, and the Collabo Of The Year. Everybody is laughin when someone says that Keri Hilson will have a hit but who's laughing now haters? If you listened at her album, you will find this as the best track in the album. I knew she is going to release this because it screams hit. The beat is just sick and those three deliver their amazing verse. The song is about having a disaster in a relationship. The video is also good. The love affair is just good for the song. Keri should make songs like these in the future. As for now, "I Like" which will enter my list next year, is smashing in Germany and she is now making her new album. I'm looking forward to it, Miscarried baby!
4. Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone

Kelly Clarkson released her best song on the album, yet the most controversial song on the album, having the same sounds of "Halo" by Beyonce. For me, it is better than Halo. Screw Ryan Tedder. Anyways, the song is just so relaxing and so emotional. The chorus is also infectious. Her voice also here is so good! I'm surprised that she didn't get any Grammy nods for this song. She slayed everyone in this song, I tell you. The video kinda bores me and disappoints me. When I found out that Joseph Kahn will not release the director's cut because it's too "My December", it just wanna make me punch him many times. For those who didn't get the video, it is about Kelly being a ghost. The song is nominated for Best Female Vocal Performance at ATRL Grammy. This is the third ballad out of four ballads in the top 5 set.
3. Lady GaGa - Paparazzi

Lady GaGa slayed us from bringing "Just Dance" and "Poker Face" an now, she will continue killing us all by bringing "Paparazzi". It is the best track on the album. The best song she ever recorded before "Telephone" came. The song is about someone being obsessed with someone. The chorus is just perfect and so infectious. Her voice here is so good. I also knew she is going to release this. The song maybe didn'tmatch JD and PF's success but I think it is her another hit, gaining heavy airplay here in thr Philippines. About the video, it is one of the best videos ever! GaGa showed in this video her famous quote "Fame Killed Me". Lady G. is one breakthrough artist of 2009. More success to you!
2. The Fray - Never Say Never

I bet you are surprise to see this song at #2.In their sophomore album, this one is the standout. I'm a ballad guy and I think it is one of the best ballads ever. The song is just too emotional and makes me sad. In my honest opinion, it is better than "How To Save A Life" and "Over My Head (Cable Car)". The chorus also is easy to remember. "Don't let me go, don't let me go, don't let me goooooo". Isaac's voice here is just perfect and it is one of the ingredients for this perfect ballad. When you first hear the piano introduction, you already know that this track will make you sad. When the bridge hits, you will be more emotional. Isaac's shrieking voice just blew me. The video is also very good. i didn't know that the whole set is just a plane crashed. The ending also is sad. I think this should be their most successful single. I really don't know why people are underestimating this one. For the last time, one word: Perfect. The song is now nominated for Best Pop Collaborations at the Grammy.

I bet you are not surprise. Last year, David Archuleta's "Crush" failed to reach the top of the list, this time, he reach the goal! The song that slayed me this year is David Archuleta's "A Little Too Not Over You". I know, I lied about the surprise thing but so what? This is my thread, I can lie whenever I want q: . When his debut album leaked, when I listened to this, I was like "HOLY ****! THATS THE BEST THING THAT A HUMAN EVER RECORDED!" Yes, I'm delusional lmfao. But yeah, that is the feeling I felt when I listen to it. The lyrics, written by himself, Mr. Archuleta, the melody, the back-up vocals at the chorus and in the end, the violin in the ending part, the video, the EVERYTHING! It's just too perfect! My family now knows that I'm an Archie stan because every time I use the computer, I play this again and again. I ***** this song for a year and I'm still whoring it! The song is just too perfect! I can also relate to the lyrics because I already experienced it. The critics said that it is a perfect ballad. The fans also said that it is one of the best. I got so excited when I hear that this will be the second single. I really hope and pray that this will be a hit. Even it gain heavy airplay in Asia, it failed to make an impact in US. I guess if David released this track before the album is released, he can get his second hit. I also remember the David Archuleta concert and when this is played, damn, the guitar made a perfect remake intro for ALTNOY. Too bad this one end the album's era. Oh well, second album is coming, I can't wait David! It is nominated for Best Male Vocal Performance at the ATRL Grammy.
