Leona Lewis showed the world that she is a force to be reckoned with with her huge singles, "Bleeding Love" and "Better In Time". Her album was good, but there still is some work that she needs to do to make her albums flawless from start to finish.

One of the best newcomers of 2008 was Katy Perry! She took the world by storm with this album and her singles "I Kissed A Girl", which dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for seven weeks and "Hot N Cold". If she keeps this up, then 2009 could be an even bigger year for her.
15: Ashlee Simpson - Bittersweet World
Top 5 Favorite Tracks:
- Outta My Head, Boys, Murder, Little Miss Obsessive, What I’ve Become
Probably one of the most underrated albums of the year. It was great from start to finish and it kept me wanting to put it on repeat. I do think that Ashlee Simpson makes great albums and unfortunately in 2008 this one went unnoticed. So if you haven't heard it, go check it out.
