The guy in the brown-tan shirt had broken up with his girlfriend. At first, it appeared that she had not taken the break-up well as she seemed very depressed when he had come back to retrieve all of his stuff from her apartment and she still seemed very depressed when he dropped off the things she left at his apartment. However, one night at a club he spots her getting down with a new man. He doesn't think much of it, as he figures that she is probably just getting back on her feet and just enjoying a night out.
Soon after though, he sees her with the same man out in public a few times and he realizes that she has found a new man. He also comes to realize that he is still not over her and so he tries to reconcile with her. But she makes it very clear to him that she has moved on and that he missed his chance. 6 months later, he sees an announcement in the newspaper about his ex-girlfriend's engagement to the man he had seen her out in public with, and just as he was out with his friends, who were all in shock at how she was able to move on so quickly and find a new man, new love and a new chapter in her life. In the end, she got the last laugh as she officially got over her ex-boyfriend that night in the club and found a new man that she would end up falling in love with and eventually become engaged to. And her ex-boyfriend is still single without anyone interested in him.
