Ashley to Film "Upstairs"
Hollywood Reporter: "High School Musical" star Ashley Tisdale will make her feature film debut in 20th Century Fox's adventure comedy "They Came From Upstairs." John Schultz is directing with Barry Josephson producing.
Also cast in the movie are "Step Up 2 the Streets" star Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins ("Viva Laughlin") and Austin Butler "Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide"). Ashley Boettcher and Henri and Regan Young are also cast.
The script, by Mark Burton and Adam F. Goldberg, revolves around a group of teens who team up to defend their Maine vacation home from aliens who have invaded via the upstairs.
Joe Hartwick Jr. is co-producing while Marc S. Fischer is exec producing the movie, which is being co-financed by Fox and Regency. Fox is distributing.
Marc Resteghini is overseeing for Fox while Kara Francis Smith shepherds for Regency.
Production starts at the end of January in Auckland, New Zealand.
Tisdale is best known for playing rich-girl Sharpay Evans in the "High School Musical" movies. She will first shoot "Upstairs" before moving on to the third installment of Disney's money-making phenomenon, which is being prepped as a theatrical feature for the first time.
Tisdale is repped by Gersh.

Ashley at Ryan Seacrest
Just got another interesting e-mail from an Ashley fan called Briy, sayin' that he was listening to XXL106.7 Orlando this morning in the car, and Ashley Tisdale happened to be filling in for Ryan Seacrest!
He also says that Ashley was hosting, so she randomly talked about celebrity news, and made comments on the songs played after they ended. The station had people call in and ask Ashley questions.
A fan asked what Ashley had planned for 2008. She mentioned that she wanted to get into more 'feature films', she's 'in the studio recording her album for 2008', and wants to 'just be happy'.
Another fan [a young girl] asked if Ashley had a boyfriend. Ashley commented to the people with her that they were torturing her having a little girl ask such questions, [LOL.]. Ashley said that she liked to keep her personal life private, and replied with, "Let's just say... maybe." and laughed.

Ashley Tisdale makes a quick stop for a frozen drink at Coffee Bean at Tea Leaf in Burbank, California yesterday. Ashley then headed to a recording studio also in Burbank.
 
Ashley out and about in LA
Ashley hits up the LA Fitness gym yesterday in Los Angeles. Then hopped into her Range Rover, which had “I ‘HEART’ WESLEY” written in the dirty window. Wesley Quinn is one of Ash’s backup dancers and in the boy band “The Factory” with her boyfriend Jared Murillo.
Tizz then headed over to Whole Foods to get some grocery shopping done, where she caught the attention of fellow shoppers in the parking lot. Ash returned her shopping cart, like a good citizen.

"I think I still look like me," she says.
Tisdale had surgery November 30 to correct a deviated septum that worsened over the years and contributed to breathing problems. She says her nose had changed shape and "was leaning in a different direction" after being fractured twice.
She begins shooting the "High School Musical 3" feature film in April.
Tisdale says she decided to talk about her surgery because she "didn't want to play a game of denying it or being coy."

Well when your nose is fractured twice, you do have to get it fixed. Whatever nose she has, she looks hot! I mean just look at that face, so happy and she's having fun.
