I hate when people do not give you feedback and yet expect you to do better, especially with papers where their criteria could be completely different from yours when it comes to a well-written paper.

"I have this a-hole's mid-term on Wednesday, which truthfully I have lost complete interest in studying for. " Um, yeah, I should be doing that for my midterm Thursday (and I am swamped, in general) and yet... here I am catching up a bit on ATRL. Anyway, I do not think it is unethical of you to be honest on the review sheet because who knows if anyone else is in the same boat as you. Maybe he might listen to your feedback (and realize how helpful feedback is) and improve as a professor?

"- I have a rather-big piece of good news about myself which I really can't say just yet." I wonder if I can guess... and I shall later. When I have more time.

"- A lot of small random things to look forward to (Such as March Madness, I filled out my brackets on a mostly brainless whim...)" Hahaha, yes!

Well the last time I wrote an "honest" review, I didn't see that professor ever again...
But get this, today I had his mid-term. I sit down, it's an open-note midterm, I'm using the handouts, a big majority of the test is pretty much easy (I expect at least a C), and what happens?:
- I could feel/sense the guy behind me looking at my paper.
- The girl to the left of me stared at my paper more than a few times.
- The guy to the right of me snuck a few peeks as well.
What did the professor do? Nothing, his head was down the whole time, and everytime I glanced at him, he was giving some demented thumbs up to someone. O_o.... But I don't like the professor, and the cheating kids around me seem pretty cool by what little impressions I got from them.



And god-dammit, I still can't say anything about my good news, I don't know if it's allowed yet. >___<!!!!! But at least my immediate-blood-related family knows now...

Whatcha think about the outcome?

I was cracking up to see Ev and CT tank because of Eric, it was good to see them lose. (But I felt kinda bad for the rest of that team ~ mainly with Robyn, Adam, Kenny, Evan who led extremely effective, and the other guys)

And $50K each to the rookies?!?!?! Sign me up for Gauntlet IV! Or maybe the next edition of Fresh Meat?

- Sometimes Time Magazine
- And Playboy has a few good articles once awaile...

I don't read magazines. I only buy the Rolling Stone when there's Britney on the cover, which means I have the 5 or so iconic RS editions.

Oh, you're one of those that watch Playboy for "the articles" eh?

I used to buy magazines a lot when I worked at the airport. Game Informer, Rolling Stone, GQ among others. I didn't really do it for the articles because most of the info magazines have these days have been available online before it gets published. I bought them because I have an obsession with good photography on print.

I used to read a lot of magazines but not anymore. Magazines I like to check out:
Scientific American/Mind
Wired
Psychology Today

Highlights for Children

I must note that there was only one magazine that I remember subscribing to but I cannot remember what it was called. All I remember is one day being disappointed because they replaced it with SI for Kids and I was never big on sports. I think it was Popular something For Kids? I really wish I knew. Although, I have found a fewwww episodes of Clarissa Explains It All so nostalgia is not that bad!

By the way, seeing I just caught up with your blog, how did you end up doing on the midterm? So weird that they all wanted to copy from you... apparently no one could handle that class, haha.
I would discuss MTV but I rarely watch anything on that channel

I just love looking at the "articles" in playboy. Yeah those "articles" are nice. Those "articles" all have big "words." I study these "articles" all the time.

It was an open-friggen-note Exam, he literally had at least half of the answers on the notes/lectures he typed up, and they were still'a'cheatin! O_o...
Actually I'm on spring break right now, but I guess I might show up next week to see how I did...

And I was into SI: for Kids for quite a bit. : [ It was better than seeing the Highlights and that Damn 4th copy of ZooBooks: Birds.

I don't think the guys intent was to do her any ill will. I believe I read somewhere that he thought she would answer this question in a way that would depict her mothers strength during such a hard time.
