 | #34: Leona Lewis / Stop the Clocks
I, I wanna stop the world from turning; and stay right here for good
This song was actually a huge respect earner for me for Leona's music. It's so catchy and it's a type of electronic pop that isn't ever done on a popular level, and it's a perfect example of this album as a whole. It's beautiful in so many ways. I wanna cry until I laugh, and laugh until I cry.

 | #33: No Doubt / Sparkle
Feelings change and people can get lost; but I still think of you so much
This is by far my favorite new No Doubt song. It has them ska-like trombones and those catchy riffs of silly-weird vocals. The verses, chorus and the strange array of ingredients in the instrumentation make it perfect. Neva-eva-eva gonna be the saAame I love this song.

 | #32: Nelly Furtado / Parking Lot
Tellin' all my friends that it's pretty casual
Not only was the video for this amazing and massive, this song is one of the best moving tracks in music this year. It clearly flopped to the pits of hell (though arguable that Interscope didn't do much to promote it ) but it's SUCH a bop. Na-na-na-na na, LEY ley. I can't get enough.

 | #31: Azealia Banks / **** Up the Fun
I'll smack all yall ****** in the face, all in the mouth, and all in the ****
I prefer the demo over the final, but either way this track has been a banger among my friend group this year. I don't know what kind of snare drum-driven smash Azealia has created here, but it's so good. Definitely makes me excited for her work with Diplo on her debut album.

 | #30: Kreayshawn / Blasé Blasé
F**k the 1st, everyday we be gettin' paid!
Alright, this track is a fiery anthem. I want to scream along to the flow every time it comes on. My friends loved it too, making it super memorable for me this year. This song shows how great Kreay is and makes me truly sad that people will never hear this GREAT track. Sigh.

 | #29: Marina & the Diamonds / How To Be A Heartbreaker
Just say goodbye at the door, and leave 'em wanting more
I pray this smash waiting to happen will see the beautiful light of day in 2013, but I won't hold my breath. I can't believe what kind of massive anthem they captured with this track. It seems to go against the grain with regular Marina tracks that are about her relationship insecurity, which I love.

 | #28: Azealia Banks / P-U-S-S-Y
***** is domesticated, well fed, and fat; other bitches got them alley cats
This has to be the most raunchy sex track I've ever heard (comes for Khia's wig, for sure) and remains a profusely slick bop. I actually really love how catchy and in-your-face this song is. It's what Azealia is great at doing, going over the top. Too bad she shelved it P-U-S-S-Y

 | #27: Kreayshawn / Luv Haus
You take care of my problems; you take care of my broken heart
In what is probably the best use of auto-tune I have ever experienced, this song is a gem in the world of basic pop tracks that are beyond catchy. It was completely unexpected from Kreayshawn to create a piece of electronic music (using a singing voice) that's so profound

 | #26: Jeremiah Nelson / Soundscape 082610
This track is instrumental. It tells a story about my life in 2012, a little. I listened to it by chance because I actually listened to one of my 'indie' friends. This is the only song I liked off the album and have fallen asleep to it countless times. It'll forever remain a little nostalgic, I think.

 | #25: Lana Del Rey / Million Dollar Man
You said I was the most exotic flower; holding me tight in our final hour
This is a masterpiece. This song defines Lana's talent and ability. It's absolutely flawless. It's usually looked over or ignored in Born to Die, but I find that to be a mistake, in all honesty. It has 100% Lana vibes, and is so lyrically perfect. I just... it's too incredible

 | #24: Carly Rae Jepsen / More Than A Memory
I should be runnin, but the heart's naive, and I expect too much
I always knew I'd like Carly if I listened to her, even though I didn't like Call Me Maybe. This song is probably in the top 5 of most surprisingly brilliant pop tracks of 2012. It's also an amazing uptempo ballad, every lyric is amazing. It's a hit. And it brings me straight back to fall.

 | #23: Crystal Castles / Wrath of God
They'll strip you of your heritage
I have so many deep emotional moments with this song. Every second of it digs into my soul. It's so deeply profound in so many different ways, it's amazing the kinds of things music can make you feel. This song blows me away. A highlight of Crystal Castles' entire discography, tbh.

 | #22: Kreayshawn / BFF (Bestfriend)
Hey, I know your parents hate me; but I'm still your best friend, baby
In what is probably the cutest song to sing to your best friend ever recorded on the face of the Earth, this is truly an athem. It's tacky-yet-undeniable, relate-able (especially for me, honestly) and, strangely enough, 100% Kreay. It really shows that she has many sides to her. My last Kreay.

 | #21: Salem / Daddy
This song is one I can't decipher the lyrics to; that's perfect, though. It's nowhere to be found: unleaked, unreleased. I'm one of the less-than-a-dozen people in the world to have it. I hate that. It's so beautiful. It makes me hate Salem, literally, for not releasing it. This song is so damn spectacular.

These songs are literally digging into my soul. I love them all. I can't even explain it.
It's getting rough to limit it down to a few sentences. I don't like it. They're all BEAUTIFUL
Thanks to everyone who is tuning in, it really means a lot!
I'm going to be so, SO busy this week... so hopefully I finish in time
I previous had wanted to do a lot more with this countdown, but might not now.

All three Kreay songs are amazing (especially Luv Haus, one of the best albums songs this year), I love MDM, HTBAH is good and I hope it's a hit for her as well, Azealia's great, and I like More Than a Memory. The background "ohhh"s during the chorus are so good.

Yes! She provided many explosive gems on her debut. So sad it's ignored, honestly.
