Well, it is basic compared to a lot of their stuff. I think the raters were a little too harsh on it though.
It was actually between 12 and 15 for a while...
then the last minute voters gave lots of 0-2s.

What exactly is "Creep" missing? It's got pathos, great tonal and musical dynamics, a fantastic vocal performance, a killer hook. I don't get the abject hatred.

Yes, it's more "basic," but not worse. "Creep" is excellent songwriting, even if it's too straightforward for Radiohead fans to appreciate.

I appreciate straightforwardness, but I think they've done that better  I like the lyrics though. It's a bit dated, while most of their catalogue has aged very well.

This rate has lots of surprises. More than half of the songs are in the 7 range, I think it's cause there wasn't a huge general consensus on most of the songs.

26. Black Swan was very average. Nothing special.
25. Bodysnatchers was one of my least favourite songs.
24. 2+2=5 is also kinda boring
Good to see these go.
23. Creep was actually good. A solid 8. I don't understand its hate either.

#26 and #25 are good to go 
2+2=5 only #24 
and Deadbanana2: at Creep getting all those 10s and still short of the top 20 
Because of that, I don't know what to expect from this rate next  its a pure surprise 
and if I'm correct, "Lotus Flower" still isn't out yet  , I'll holler if it ends up in the top 20
