She finally did it. She gave me that album with no I Was Here/BTINH or Pretty Hurts type potholes to break up the greatness. I think for the very first time I'm listening to an album (from any artist) where I enjoy every song. This is EXCELLENT.
Her best album by far if I'm honest, the emotion, the power, so personal & raw. The only song that didn't connect with me right away was Don't Hurt Yourself.
My favorites are:
All Night, Sandcastles, Pray You Catch Me, Freedom, and Daddy Lessons.
But the whole album is good (maybe even Formation but I've always been mixed on that).

YAS! I'm rejoicing. From start to finish, this **** is epic. No corny, simple pop songs.

Amazing album. Very different from her last sonically but with as much depth, even more. A very comfortable album that I think some of her fans might find a hard time digesting.

like theres a handful of good songs and one or two huge standouts but the rest falls flat (similarly to ST) but where it falls flat here it falls really hard imo (sandcastles, forward)
