Thanks Ace. I've been bopping to I Am The One For You since I got the pm to rate it. Had it on repeat all day. How didn't this make Rhythm of Love? It could've seriously been a fifth single, or at least competed with One Boy Girl. A shame she didn't milk that era for what it was worth but instead served Let's Forget It.
I've given it a dozen chances over the years, but I just can't get into Rhythm of Love
Its singles are all BY FAR my favourite Kylie singles pre-00s, but the album tracks are tragic. I occasionally use Things Can Only Get Better and One Boy Girl, but that's it.
I use Secrets, Always Find The Time, and Things Can Only Get Better.
Rhythm isn't a bad album, it just suffers the same "dated and mostly forgotten" fate of her 80s albums. I don't even remember how The World Still Turns, One Boy Girl, Count The Days and the title track go.
I guess I might be a bit sick of the original, never been a fave of mine either It's still the highlight of my day at work when they play it on the radio though (and they play it daily )
All these Fever b-sides slay most of the material on the album Same issue as with X smh
But yeah, Light Years would've made a much better choice.
