I don't know a single person who's never heard of Suck. I know a lot of people who have never heard of Already Gone and Walk Away. The state of the Hot 100 in 2004-2006 was really different than in 2009. The increase in digital sales changed the game a lot so it's not entirely fair to compare chart positions and longevity. I think SUBG is the only song you can say for sure had a larger impact than Suck. It gets really fuzzy after that.
I really hope this is Kelly's first #1 on the Hot100 that got there the hard way, if you know what I mean.She's never had one that grew in sales and airplay to get her that #1.. AMLT was all because of sales and just winning Idol and MLWSWY had major hype and was also mainly because of sales. She's never had a grower song that climbed the Hot 100 and grew so significantly in airplay that it hit #1. She came so close with SUBG and I think WDKY has a huge chance to make it! It's ridiculous to think that Katy Perry (I'm not bashing her) got FIVE from her last album and Kelly hasn't done it yet.
