Now would you look at that. Looks like the public picked the next single. Poor In the Night
|
Lana's fan base is why it's so high. It would underperform on radio because of her feature. The obvious third and fourth singles should be Shamless for the winter & In The Night for the spring.

He didn’t make it to #1 on the streaming chart, though. “What Do You Mean?” had 23 million listens but Silento’s “Watch Me” had 25.7 million. Looking down the chart, the first nine songs all had more than 10 million streams. The first 34 were streamed at least 5 million times.

The Hills is SO old though Like I loved it back in June but now? It took such a long time for it to gain popularity. Not here for it anymore.

WDYM does not deserve to debut at #1. Such a weak and simple song.

Seeing that Prisoner started at #47, I'm curious what artists' album tracks have actually cracked the T40 primarily based on streaming given how streaming continues to rise...
Songs that debuted in the streaming T20 this year:
What Do You Mean 2
Elastic Heart 2
Grammy Blood 3
Sugar 7
Bitch Better Have My Money 11
Drag Me Down 12
Bohemian Rhapsody 12 (???)
Holiest Dreams 15
My Way 16
Pretty Girls 16
Earned It 17
Hit the Quan 19
Feelin Myself 19
Rotten to the Core 20
Straight Outta Compton 20
Hmm, looks like unlike sales it's hard to start that big on the streaming chart.
Last year's songs to debut in the streaming T10:
1 Blessed Space
1 We Might Be Dead By Tomorrow (lol)
2 Shake it Off
2 Billie Jean
3 Booty
4 Hangover
6 Word Crimes
8 Ew
9 Problem
10 Time to Say Goodbye (apparently from some viral "Viral GoPro fireworks video"...)

With Lean On falling and Cheerleader falling fast on airplay and streaming, do you think Selena can go TOP 5 in 2 weeks?
What is new competition? I think Locked Away will have problem with streaming since video is stalling a lot

Actually Selena is about to peak soon on radio and that's a problem for her. "Locked Away" is getting close and closer each week, and music video is gaining on views weekly. "679" is also a big contender for Top 5 since it's just starting on radio and it hasn't stopped gaining on streaming. I honestly don't see GFY going Top 5, unfourtanely

I think discount starting this Friday would be the best possible chance for it.
And even if she peaks at radio, i don't think it will already freefall in the next 10 days

It will flop, it went high due to both stanbases, the song is not catchy and deffo not single material.

Poor Uma Thurman. Streaming is really hurting them.
