According to this statement, they've known for a year and a half she was going to leave. THATS why she was confused as to how they handled it, acting shocked and what not.

Also, that's before any of her solo ventures. Which just goes to show that whatever the reason, the writing has been on the wall for eons.

I never was a fan of them, but I do know now that I will NEVER ever support Camila. Never will buy or stream her music. Family and friends are the most important thing in life, and the way she acted is disgusting.

In order to simply take a neutral position here, lets just say the girls probably didn't get along way before the solo project happened, way before Taylor thing happened. Because of their inability to click, it led to these strings of discomfort and changed behavior from both sides.

I don't think her having solo plans was the problem, it's how fast she acted upon them. Lauren and Camila both landed features/duets at the same time and everyone knew within the group, yet Lauren's collab only got released a year later while Camila's got released almost immediately. So it's possible that's what threw everyone off/

There was no visible signs of tension until ~March 2015. But Camila's leaked messages saying she wanted to punch Ally are from 2013.

None of the girls were planning on actually releasing solo stuff. Then Camila did, and started promoting it on TV, radio shows, interviews, etc, and that agreement was broken after that.

Well, they have been the victims of drama, messiness and stress she's caused them over the past 2 years. They have every right to finally say their part.

I believe that Lauren's long delayed release of her solo project it was more of her producers decision on when to release it or the strenuous logistics behind it. While camila's solo project had much smoother transition and the materials that come along in order to release it are handled much quicker than Lauren's (after all Republic backed her up while Lauren was working with artists under much smaller label)

And when the labels try to step in, it was already TOO late because the conflict started so much earlier and had left a huge stain. Hence why camila refused to participate.

The conflict that happened was Taylor throwing her a birthday party and not inviting the other girls.
