Just read through all 25 pages. Glad to see a lot of artists on here. Tori, Kelis, Led Zeppelin (although I'm not sure if I'd call LZ "pop stars" still glad they got some recognition).
Did Fergie make this list? idk why but I feel like it's Fergie (maybe I think you would forget her? )

Back in my day, girls didn't have to stunt on Instagram with hashtags like #unapologeticbitch. Or name albums Unapologetic. Their displayed their brazenness through their sound and image, flirting with and then defying all sorts of societal conventions. Back in my day, the woman who did this the most was Annie Lennox. Her voice - both sociopolitically and literally - is missed. (Seriously, where are all the true contraltos?)
And her song?
Next: The most important band of the past twenty years. (But not twenty five! That comes later.)
I don't know much about Annie apart from Eurythmics' more well known songs. Nice to see her on this countdown though. I liked her performance at the Olympics.
Oop, Annie did not even cross my mind. She really does have such a beautiful, distinctive voice. Another artist's discography to go through. Lemme go take advantage of the old Notepad.
Annie Lennox, the definition of a diva. That album is perfect from beginning to end. Love everything that she's done, both by herself and with Dave. Pioneering stuff.
