25. Hello was all anyone could talk about for it's first few weeks. "Hello, it's me" was brought up constantly. 25's first weeks sales was VERY talked about + it was still relevant by the end of December and THAT's when it was quickly forgotten about. Formation had that cute little moment at the Superbowl and was forgotten in a week. Lemonade was hot for a minute before Drake came and collected that ***.Lemonade did not have the hit singles, sales, or the longevity that 25 had. 25 was MUCH bigger.

Formation skyrocketed to #1 on iTunes and had the biggest first week sales of 2016 despite being released for free months prior.

This went right over your head, huh?
Why would the GP talk about non singles? Formation and Sorry were literally talked about for months so try again
Meanwhile, nobody even knew When We Were Young existed and Send My Love was barely bigger than Hold Up.

Then in the first few months of 2016 she won everything at the BRITS, had a highly publicized Grammy performance (for bad reasons but still, media coverage), her tour announcement which sold out the whole tour in minutes.
Then over the summer she had Send My Love become an international Top 10 hit and a #1 pop hit in the US, as well as her hugely successful tour, which saw countless celebrities attend, got lots of media coverage all around the world, and the giant eyes thing that opens the show has become lowkey iconic.
She still has the Grammy Awards to look forward to early next year, and "Water Under the Bridge", which could be another hit.
The 25 era was felt and enjoyed by every demographic, every race, nationality, age. A truly global mega album with an instant classic lead single.
Lemonade doesn't compare on any level, not hits, not sales, not cultural impact, not its reach and appeal. Even its tour, considering Adele will have grossed about $200m (close to Formation) and sold out everything instantly, and could easily have done huge stadiums all around the globe.
Sorry, Hive.

i love Bey and Lemonade, and it def had great impact and deserved Acclaim, but it just wasn´t bigger than 25 overall.
tourwise tho, they´re both huge but in different ways since Bey has sold out stadiums with fewer dates and massive demand, Adele has a much longer tour but with arenas only and atleast the same demand. they both slay hard in this department

All of this.

Lemonade's only impact is white liberal critics raving about it cuz they are too scared that BLM is gonna come and burn their houses down. If Adele was black 25 would have 90 on MC
the GP did not care about LemoN/Ade and that's just a fact
the songs made no impact, she just got a bit hype for the first 3 weeks because of Kim Kardashian'd drama

Let's just say this
Come On Over is the best selling female album of all time, and I believe it's the best selling album of the 90s right?
Besides the numbers, did the album actually have any real impact? None of the singles even went #1 so it seems to me that era was a complete non event. When you look at lists of defining albums of the 90s, it's either nowhere to be found or far down on the list. An album that definitely had more impact but sold a lot less is The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
It's lead single went #1 and the rest peaked around #40, but the music is still timeless and remembered and impactful than any single from Come On Over.
Like look at all the acclaim
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Mi...Hill#Accolades
Not saying 25 was a non event, but it's just an example of how sales definitely do not determine impact and general popularity.
Hello is definitely gonna be remembered decades from now, but I don't see the entire album being remembered.
21 is bigger than any Beyoncé era, I'll give her that, but Lemonade's general impact is much bigger than 25 and it's legacy will live on whereas 25's died after she released When We Were Young.

so you're saying that, although 25 is bigger in every measurable way, Lemonade will have a bigger legacy because you feel like it will?

I'm saying because the singles had no impact and were non events, it'll be the Come On Over of the decade.
An album that sold a lot, but won't be remembered years from now.

Half of those albums are indie artists.
Acclaimed mainstream albums like Miseducation, Ray Of Light, Thriller, Like A Prayer, etc. are well remembered.

Lemonade wasn't just highly rated indie album on metacritic from 8 reviews, it's one of the most critically acclaimed, impactful albums from a mainstream artist EVER, that solidified Beyonce's status as a legend, won tons of awards and topped countless end of year lists...How is Lemonade comparable to those albums when 95% of them didn't do the same thing?

But you also said: "Hello is definitely gonna be remembered decades from now". Such a nonevent it was, that it will be remembered decades to come
Now back to reality: "Hello" was a MASSIVE event. It sold 1.1 million first week, and everyone was talking about it for weeks. In comparison Beyoncé only had Formation, a tuneless flop single that everyone forgot by now [specially WW].
Formation/Lemonaid had more impact you say?
Hello - 1.1 million daily vevo views
Formation - N/A
Why is HELLO, with "NO" impact getting more daily views than "video of the year" winner Formation? All this even though Formation is a newer song. Let's not also forget that it wasn't officially up on vevo until a couple of weeks ago - so it should be getting way more views since it's finally easily accessible for the GP. Yet HELLO is outdoing it
Another song that's getting more views than Formation:
Send my love (to your new lover) - 622 K
*b-u-u-t impact*.

Do you feel like Lemonade is the biggest era of this year, beating 25, maybe View and ANTi?

In terms of overall eras I'd say:
25>Purpose=Views>Lemonade>ANTi
