I'm sorry but nothing ciara has ever done in her career has been freshor innovative. Goodies was just a female version of other popular crunk songs at the time. The Evolution was just another r&b cd that sounded heavily like throwaway aaliyah tracks. With ciara's last two albums was just subpar r&b/pop records. Your giving ciara way too much credit this song is far from original or innovative in any sense, just another sexual r&b song like many other. Ciara also doesn't have her own sound, and I would get into that but that would make the post too long.
Im well aware of the original song thank you. Im almost 30, those songs were soundtracks to my life back then.. Ive been waiting to see what Ciara Mike Will and Future do with the sample, and im very pleased.. Beyond pleased.
and in your opinion Ciara doest have her own unique sound, thats fresh and innovative.. but.
