"Grow a Pear" is fine, but it's definitely one of my least favorites from Cannibal. The song is like "Ur So Gay" with a better chorus, but 95% less wit (and homophobia).
The lowdown: It's a day-after anthem for the hard-partying wild child! Sounding unexpectedly sensitive, Ke$ha laments the unrequited love of a one-night stand in this retro electro-ballad. Co-written with David Gamson and Marc Nelkin and produced by Gamson, it is the eighth track on Cannibal.
The vote: With a deceptively naughty title—one that makes "If U Seek Amy" look positively witty and subtle by comparison—it is perhaps unsurprising that "C U Next Tuesday" would strongly divide camps. Twelve scores of 8 or above were offset by nine of 3 or below.
Best moment: "I'm just watching you pretend/like your heart is on your sleeve/when I know you have a girlfriend"
