Yep, i'm pretty sure there's tons of songs from 2005 or hell even earlier that peaked around 80 million and higher. The Rhythmic panel was stronger than Pop back then.

I was also under this impression, which is why the mid 2000s Hot 100 is dominated by far more R&B leaning songs which were radio driven in chart points.
