-The project takes listeners on a journey. It'll take more than a week for people to appreciate it.
-The music is strong. It all depends on how it's packaged and handled.
-It'll take more than a week for people to grasp what she's been working on for over two years.
-The Monsters shouldn't focus on first week numbers when it drops.
Will be definitely successful!
I hope they're filming outside. I love on-location music videos.
She is. If that is indeed Ruth, that woman has 10+ years of experience dealing with some of the biggest brands in the world. She's incredibly successful, acclaimed, and creative. She, unlike so many "music video directors", serves different visuals and concepts each and every time as opposed to regurgitating the same thing over and over because they've found a formula that works. But hey, she should continue doing the same thing over and over again.
Really, I don't understand why this is still a problem. Other major popstars work with different directors all the time, some completely new, some not even "music video directors", and none of you care. It's like you just want something to whine about.
Ruth's a filmmaker and she's often the one behind the camera. Even directors will sometimes go behind the camera to make sure the shot looks the way they want it to.
Boo I am ALL HERE for a Ruth directed video and what you said is correct, but these loose assumptions are just too much

An Adele - 21 tea!
first time I see that
"more than one week" what does that mean
How was GUY "just her serving looks?" There's a pretty clear plot, even if there are lots of looks and **** thrown into the mix.
I do agree that we don't need a GUY-type video though. I love that video, but some simple with striking, iconic visuals would be best for a comeback. Save the Minecraft homages and MJ ressurections for a fourth single or somethig, d.
ThatGrapeJuice twitter tweeted it a few weeks before the single announcement.

I don't get Adele 21 teas off of that at all tbh. Sure Adele 21's album took a few weeks to finally hit it off, but that was only because she was still not mainstream yet. People were just figuring out about her. I think he's just saying it's going to be music that isn't going to be what the fans are expecting. It'll have to grow on them.
Same. I want her to play a character. Like maybe she can play a suburban housewife who thinks her life is perfect only to realize it's all just an illusion.
I would DIE if she delivered something epic like Lana Del Rey's Ride, aka one of the best music videos of all time.
Simple, stripped, cinematic, plot driven, poetic, raw. And her "I am ****ing crazy, but I am free" could be "but it was all just an illusion, a perfect illusion" . End credits
