1 Taylor Swift - Bad Blood (feat. Kendrick Lamar) 1.0000
2 Omi - Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix Radio Edit) 0.8844
any big release next sunday ? if it could build a decent lead and maintain it through the week as it hasnt freefallen anywhere yet (sign that it could get some longevity) it could really be her first N°1 there
I think at this point, Taylor just tells the guys at Big Machine how things are gonna be. Obviously they will give suggestions, Taylor has said in interviews that they opposed her musical direction + choice of album cover for this album. In the end she got her way, which illustrates where the power really lies.
The Style Music vid was done by Kyle Newman, who is Jaime King's husband, so that whole thing was probably done by Taylor rather than through her label.
I expect she has a single release strategy all planned out for the rest of the era. And I am sure Charlie Walk will be involved in this planning.
True. She did state at the beginning of the era that she already knew what half the singles were going to be.
Meanwhile, Swift's "Bad Blood" surges back onto the Hot 100 at a new best rank, No. 53. It had first charted for two weeks in November and January as an album cut from 1989, reaching No. 78. The song blasts back, now as the set's official fourth single and featuring Kendrick Lamar, after Swift premiered its star-infused video to open the BBMAs. The song re-enters Digital Songs at No. 26, up by a monstrous 789 percent to 47,000 sold; again, it should sport even greater gains on next week's charts following a full week of tracking after its BBMAs spotlight and should also soar onto next week's Streaming Songs chart after its first week of clicks. "Blood" is already welcomed at radio, as it debuts on Radio Songs at No. 46 (27 million, up from 1 million the previous week).
I think this is the peak of my standom ! I m literally on here, kworb, ukmix, itunes all day/night long...I ve played the mv more than 20 times just today
She was probably talking about the 3 She already had videos for.
Did anyone else catch the differences in the Style outtakes, (that are now being used for Clean), and the actual Style MV. Her hair seems much longer, and she doesn't have those thick bangs. It was probably shot at the end of the RED era
