Apparently a lot of people say they're gonna vote, but on Tuesday they get lazy or forget (???), so by forcing them to tell you what time they're going to the polls and helping them create a voting plan, they're much more likely to actually go vote.
If someone said they voted early we had to push them to provide details to prove they did. I asked one woman how she voted early and she was like, "At the local library!" And I was like, "Hmm. The library in this town doesn't have early voting... Did you mean you went to the neighboring town?" She looked SHOOK that I caught her lying!! So I gave her a flyer with her poll location/hours since I knew she needed it
