MJH sounds hazy to me. I think it's just that her vocals aren't bought to the forefront of the tracking. Kind of like how in Applause the vocals on the chorus was pretty drowned out when we first heard it.

Yeah. I mean, imagine it without it's loud and vibrant production - it would be so much worse. The production takes they lyrics and vocal and ties them together; it completes the picture.
