It is logical. Rihanna has always had an urban single to coincide with a pop single. TTT is infectious and Jay hasn't sounded better in years imo. It has hit written all over it and has the potential to cross over. The seasons determine what songs should be released. She needs the momentum after Xmas to carry this era. TTT can do it if promoted correctly. WHYB is a no brainer for late spring/summer..and WAWL can carry into the fall.

Clearly it's a better idea to release WHYB first, so that both her US sales and international sales benefit. If we wait until next summer to release it and go with TTT first, then her US and UK sales will benefit, and her international sales will probably, too, but not to the same extent. It will be the best performing International single. I have faith in that but sometimes its good to save the best for later to keep sales sable throughout the set of the year. Because in Summer her sales are gonna become so stagnant. Lots of ppl buy albums in the summer so if she has WHYB strong on the charts, she will be shifting units more than if she had TTT out. TTT needs to be the 3rd single. Especially for the US. and TTT will smash harder in the US than WHYB. It WILL have a better airplay advantage to boost it too.

While they are good songs, those are songs that you KNOW are songs that will just be fan favorites and strong album cuts.

To find a good single, you have to listen to the chorus. If you can't remember the chorus after 2 plays then you know it won't work.

Talk That Talk, Where Have You Been and We All Want Love should be the only songs left to be released on the album, if plans on playing it safe this era.

She's gonna release a ballad so We All Want Love will be released in September. And its a good time to release it so she can promote it at award shows and such.

Why doesn't everybody else see it our way?

You do know that its the non American fans that always think differently. They don't understand how radio over here works. Just because a song has all the formula for success doesn't mean it will. Look at Marry the Night.

Both will do very well WW and I have no doubt about it but when Def Jam saw the TTT's charting just after release and how it's already taking of on the radio in the States they are left with no choices here. Both could be a good choice but it's inevitable already.

I'm not saying WAWL should be released because it's a "favorite" of mine. It seriously screams hit to me.

CKB/MD were favorites of mine from Loud but I NEVER wanted them released until at least the end of the era or not at all. I actually wanted Cheers as the FOURTH SUMMER 2011 single.

The only time I wanted a fan favorite was Rockstar 101, but I learned my lesson. I was a freshman.
